garic> As said previously, you are coming up with a great style, it\'s really interesting but it\'s unreadable. I couldn\'t read a single action or movement in the three first pages. Became clearer afterwards. Your inks are nice but sometimes they look a bit rushed up, try to take your time on your comics even if your amount of pages is lower.
But I pretty like it, as french sailmen would say: T\'es trop cool.
cyrine> I expected something really good from that, the comic is not crappy but I didn\'t like it a lot. Action scene were hard to understand and I didn\'t like the coloring which was like someone who had never colored in his life. The hand writing for the text was not really good. I hope you\'ll come with greater comics next time.
Normally I give great votes to artists because I\'m fucking amazed, those were just average but I gave my votes to garic.

Oh, nevermind -- I\'m an idiot. The pages are in the right order, it\'s just the thumbs that made me think otherwise.

Oops! That last info page was meant to be first, but its no big deal.
Thanks for the comments, guys -- I guess I got a little too loose with my inks this time and I\'ll try to reel it back a bit in the future. Brushes are still relatively new to me.
angie -- You got all that I intended you to get from this battle, I think. Seeing Moppit triggers something very profound in Bub, but exactly what happened and what he saw will be clarified slowly over future battles. This one wasn\'t supposed to explain everything, but it was supposed to make you wonder.
Cyrine -- Thanks again for taking the time to battle me. There isn\'t much to say about your comic that hasn\'t already been said. Looks like you had some cool ideas and you\'ve proven in the past that you can follow through given time, which I guess you didn\'t have enough of for this battle. Maybe you could stay away from color if it gives you more time to refine the linework. Good job overall, though!

Garic-I felt like artistically this was a pretty big step up for you, your inking is really coming along. But be a little more careful with your linewidths, if everything has the same thick outline, it starts to clump together and get confusing. Doing some toning could help differentiate objects from one another as well. Now I get that he started having flashbacks or some kind of mental breakdown, but it may have helped to clarify why. From what I can tell it was brought on by Moppit, but giving us a little more information may have really helped make what was going on clear.
Cyrine-It\'s good to see you back! But I really felt you could have spent more time on this. I wasn\'t a fan of the hand written text, it may have worked better to use a more fancy script like font for Moppit\'s words, it would have looked more classy and appropriate. I was also confused about what was going on in the action pages. I hope you\'re able to thoroughly finish your next battle, I missed your stuff.

GARIC: this looked great! i see so much potential in you and i like the textures and shots you had, it was really good. i like that you\'re loose in your inks but dont be too loose or the idea your trying to get though gets lost in a muddled puddle so yea, just tighten things up that you want to be focused on with more precise lines. good job yo!
cyrine: cute style but unfinished? not have time? bummer! and the Photoshop coloring was a bit icky and the shots you did were all kind of the same, eye-level of their faces, ya know? SO YEA keep going lady, you have a super cute character c:

UPLOADED. Yes, I know there\'s still over a week before this is due, but i\'m leaving for a vacation tomorrow and I can\'t bring my scanner, computer, etc. with me. This is a complete battle, though -- it\'s not like I was forced to cut my story short or anything.
