I normally could care less about CGI in anime, but damn, this show really impressed me with the battle scenes.

i said i'd get it done this week, and even as it came to the eleventh hour, i managed to cobble this together. i'm still waiting on clips from some other projects over the past year, but i figured i'd rather go back and edit than keep putting this off.

An animated short in a gorgeous and fun style that serves as a reminder that the journey we share is every bit as important as the destination.

The simple character forms combined with hyper colorful and painterly backgrounds are a style I'd love to synthesize.

I wasn't sure where to put this, since it's something cool, but also kind of a reference, but also on Youtube...

Watch Paolo Rivera draw a Daredevil cover in 11 minutes

http://robot6.comicbookresources.com/2013/02/watch-paolo-rivera-draw-a-daredevil-cover-in-11-minutes/?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter

It's cool to see a professional's work flow, but it also show a very important thing we should all take to heart and use to encourage ourselves when we are having a hard time drawing: even after all those years of practice, and all the professional experience, sometimes you just CAN'T DRAW THOSE GODDAMNED LEGS!
- I yearn for redemption, but I'll settle for a breakfast sandwich.

I really don't like the drawing. The perspective looks completely whack to me, especially with Daredevil looking huge in comparison to Spidey even though he is behind him.

Also as someone who has never drawn digitally before, him being able to completely spin the hands after hes drawn them, or even whole figures seems pretty insane, but I think it would just make me lazy and less considerate of composition from the outset if I were to work like that.
Each to there own though, personal preference of course.

awesome pre-viz fight from the last die hard movie. it didn't make it into the final feature, probably because it was too awesome and would have made people buy tickets.

Pi, that was fun to watch man. Love the fact that a GoPro was used. Our filmmaker of the industrial dance team I help co-lead uses a GoPro for our videos.

Speaking of which, one of our latest vids starring our youngest and our newest member followed by a video of all of us messing about.
