Art Dump

Hey all, I am brand new to the boards, to the site, the whole thing. I gotta say, I really love what the site promotes and I look forward to getting involved in it as well. Until then, however, I will just settle for some art dumps in this particular forum. I am open to critiques, sort of the point of the whole thing. Looking forward to what you all have to say.

I'll start off with a few finished pieces, some sketches...blah blah blah...this is a bit of a hodge podge of different experiments as well.

I just want to point out that I realize that the one arm is short.

aside from sherlock's hand looking a little backwards in the last pic, you look like you've got a good handle of your hand skills, let's see more finished work, and comics!

Hope to see in in the incubator soon! Some very solid stuff in here. One thing to watch out for is you're choosing a lot of very narrow difficult to read fonts, try to go with things that are simple and pleasing to the eye. I couldn't read the text in the image with the guy with the green hair.

looks p. good but i think you need more control on the basic lineworks, they're still kinda have not alot of substance aside from style. It's in the middle between flat and non flat style, so it feels kinda inconsistent. your coloring helps alot, however, so that's good- but still, focus on making better lineart to strengten your skilllzz brah
Get ready- pop it, let's go.

(Pi) - Thanks for the vote of confidence! I look forward to slammin out some sequentials soon!

Angieness- Thanks man, means a lot to hear that. I realized the font issues after I finished the image, and got lazy and did not bother to alter it, which there is no real excuse for, but yes, its something I aim to avoid in the future.

jho- Thanks, just the kind of stuff I am looking for. Anything you might suggest that I can do to try and bulk up the linework a little bit?
