NIN has a new album out, even though you may not have known about it.
Details: http://ghosts.nin.com/main/home
Ordering: http://ghosts.nin.com/main/order_options

What's great is there's an option for FREE.  9 tracks, completely free.  If they're good, I'm going to plunk down for the 2 disc set.  I likes my musics on discs.

A SIN CITY VIDEO GAME?!
http://arstechnica.com/journals/thumbs.ars/2008/03/06/sin-city-game-to-be-based-on-books-not-movie
A game, based on the Frank Miller books is being made, with plans for an entire series.

This could potentially be fantastic, or as horrendous as the Red Star game.  Time will tell of course, but color me happy for now.

whoa

thats really cool. I'm downloading the 9 NIN songs right now.
and with a sin city videogame, i really hope it reflects frank millers style.

EDIT:

wow. NIN is awesome, simply because my first idea was to pirate the whole thing, greedy as i am, and i found this, written by the band.

"Ghosts I is the first part of the 36 track collection Ghosts I-IV. Undoubtedly you\\\'ll be able to find the complete collection on the same torrent network you found this file, but if you\\\'re interested in the release, we encourage you to check it out at ghosts.nin.com, where the complete Ghosts I-IV is available directly from us in a variety of DRM-free digital formats, including FLAC lossless, for only $5. You can also order it on CD, or as a deluxe package with multitrack audio files, high definition audio on Blu-ray disc, and a large hard-bound book."

and this is why:
"we\\\'ve decided to personally upload Ghosts I, the first of the four volumes, to various torrent sites, because we believe BitTorrent is a revolutionary digital distribution method, and we believe in finding ways to utilize new technologies instead of fighting them."

i think that's really cool.

This shit is rad, it's like Trillian, only vastly better.  Simple enough IM client, but it allows you to merge contact lists from Jabber, Google Talk, AIM, Yahoo, MSN... PLUS, lets you check email (including GMail), and monitor social sites like MySpace and Facebook.  It's in beta right now, but I've been using it for weeks, it's definitely stable and if you know how to work The Google, you'll be able to find an invite code.

yeah brendan mccarthy was working on that preproduction stuff a while ago. i don't care what people say. FURY ROAD is the best title ever.

a game would also be very bad ass.

Severed head bread is pretty fun, I wonder what it tastes like. If I could ever get over eating bread that looks like super realistic body parts.

no mention of the slip? the other albums were mentioned so i figured it'd be worth mentioning again. it's good, kinda short. 1,000,000's my favorite track.

Anyone that's waiting for Metal Gear 4 as much as I am might get a kick out of this...

http://www.gametrailers.com/game/6748.html

It's a complete history of the game and characters.  Both fascinating AND informative.  I've only just finished Part 1, but will definitely be checking out the rest to remind me just what the hell is going on story-wise.

Oh yeah, if I remember right there's one for Metroid and Zelda as well, both of which are very good watches if you enjoy learning the history of the games and such.

The Witchdoctor looks awesome. I hope they include the Druid, because he was probably my favorite from Diablo. I saw from the videos that you can select gender now, which is cool. The destructible environment addition looks really cool, and the bosses look pretty huge and devastating. The one thing which I'm a little skeptical about is how vibrant the colors are. It just looks a little weird to me, because in the other games I remember the colors being a lot more muted and less saturated, so it gives a less ominous and mysterious feeling. Other than that, I can't wait to see what classes, armor, features, etc. they are coming up with.

sc4 looks good. i think the star wars thing is a little hokey. like vader's on ps3 & yoda's on 360? really, the only people that i'd think would be interested in that would be the ones that would like them to fight each other. and you can't even do that (unless maybe they're hidden on each version later on).

and i don't know what to think about the new characters designed by anime creators. like the one designed by the sgt frog creator looks pretty stupid. the one by the gantz guy looks alright but it just seems like taki with longer blades.

oh, yeah. and did you know there's a new one-hit kill system? let's say you keep attacking & the opponent blocks. you each have meters that start green. if you hit & they block? it turns blue. if they keep blocking, theirs turns red, & gradually, apparently they lose armor off the character. when one's pure blue & one's pure red, there's some little universal command (or hell maybe it's just any old hit) & it initiates a cut screen where there's a one hit kill. i think it makes sense for the type of game it is. i mean the fact that astaroth had a move that buries an axe in someone face & only did like 25% damage was a little silly. but lord knows how cheap people are about shit. apparently there's going to have to be a lot more focus on parrying & guard impacting to keep that sorta shit from happening.

The parallel platform thing sucks! I've been keeping up with it on G4ondemand but
everytime they show one of them they're fighting the other, but if that is the case i hope
the PS3 has Vader

yeah i think it was a developer cut scene or something, as i heard they were split like sc2 was with the platforms. but like i said... maybe they're like a hidden character later on or something. still though, i'm kinda in the school of thought that when i play soul cailbur, i wanna play soul calibur, not tera kasi or whatever the hell that really horrendous star wars fighting game was called haha. that having been said, between street fighter 4, sc4, tekken 6, & little big planet (of all things) i'm considering picking up a ps3 eventually (after a new desktop & nice screen to play it on haha). i know mamoru was looking to get some online play going when he gets his. you in jaws?

Oh yeah, the PS is acually the next thing on my get-list since i have less than lawdable ways of getting my hands on one i'm only paying $175 so i'll have enough left over for SC4 and Tekken 6 (you stole my heart when mentioning that game, i have dreams where i wake up crying out for tekken 6 (i do))
all tha to say count me in!!!

It's just a teaser site for "CTDS" and since it's from Square and has clocks all over the place, I'm assuming it means either Chrono Trigger is getting a port on the DS or that Square is finally taking a break from Final Fantasy to do another Chrono game.
