Can't believe you took out jizz mountain -1 on everything
I'm a huge fan of the inks here and you are getting much better with your use of spotblacks!

Bobo: I don't know what's up with the font in those few places where it looks non-anti-aliased.

bugger, that'll be a fault on my end yeah - what I should have done was save it for web which I was completely dumb enough to forget in my hast and didn't notice when I was looking at the pages resized the way I did - but thank you for pointing it out so I can make sure to not make that mistake in the future, doing the text digitally is something I'm having to familiarise myself with again after a few years of sticking to hand-written, though admittedly that was an avoidable hiccup, but again thanks for pointing it out <3.
as for the intent of the comic you're right it is a comic thats main intent is to set up exposition, not a lot particularly happens at all other than minor bickering and sloshing about, I didn't want to draw the script out longer than really needed - but thank you so much for your input on how you think the script could improve and I'll carry it forward for my further scripting with this. Cheers Bobo!
Pyras: Cheers! and buggerfuck.

I don't know what's up with the font in those few places where it looks non-anti-aliased, but watch out for that kinda thing in the future. Other than that, not a lot happened in this comic besides introducing Archie and Wizzie. And I do look forward to seeing how those two get along, for sure, but I guess this comic just didn't hit me the way a lot of your comics do. That's probably intentional, since this seems like more of a set-up for future comics than a story all by itself. I just would have liked to see a little more of the situation Mammon is in or something to kind of drive home the contrast between Archie's undying devotion and optimism and Mammon's struggles or whatever. Just something to give the comic a little more punch.
As far as art goes, you two are just amazing together. I've always been a huge fan of Hats' style (and yes, that includes ALL the different styles you experimented with and explored between 2012 and now), and Mags' coloring really complements that style really well. I mean, you could easily swap those two and it would still be amazing because you guys are excellent artists just on your own. I just liked how it came together here.
Can't wait to see what happens next!

This comic is actually already drawn and ready for immediate release! (there just wasn't an option for that for a 2-character BB) This comic also had Kozi and Barrel's blessing.
As for duties! I threw the concept at Mags and got the green light, I scripted, sketched, inked, flatted and lettered myself and Mags worked her rendering magic.
And this will make sense when you read it, I know what it looks like - I bloody know, but hell, you try and draw it and for it to not make it look like what it does and I'll eat all my hats. <3

That cover page is super dynamic. And not just because I suggested stuff. XD The effects and technicolor blur/popout you got going on is just super neat. Kudos on really setting the stage for what lies within.
First of all, I gotta commend you both for the creation of this 'upside down'. I for one know cream may look easy, but varying it and sloshing into neat and swirly melty designs ain't easy. Page to page you definitely took it various ways and weren't afraid to get messy as Wizzie trudged through the muck of it looking for her toothy beau. I think transitioning it to is snowing ice cream- which at face value seems so whimsical really gave your end a sinister bit of eeriness if you're wise to the context.
Also poor Mammon. We get no thoughts or words from him, so for the reader, having come away from Tag Team tournament Rond 1, what could he be thinking? His last moments were holding the hand of the woman he loved only to find himself in the screamscape alone. Is she alive? Dead? Lost? That's gotta fill someone with such a chill- if you'll pardon the pun. While I'm dying to know whats on his mind, I'm glad you left the narrative purely between Wizzie and Archie. It grants this heaviness to the end that just leaves you as morose as Mammon as he walks off.
Its always such a treat to see you two collabing, and this comic was no exception. The colors are superb, the inks are tight and you two clearly have found a radical groove when your powers combine. I think I speak for most when I say we hope to see plenty more collabs from you two in the future.
