Ink's Blots

Ink's Blots

I pretty much use that title for every art thread I make ever.... ANYWAYS. Audition work was put on hold for comic con but now I'm back to working on it! I figured I should still get an art thread up and post some stuff. :U Stuff is a fistful of old stuff I like but I'll probably post more sketches and stuff in the future!

NOW THE ART there's..... a lot of characters standing in voids....

My selkie type char

My sparkliest pokemon pic but certainly not the last.

My "fur"sona is a shapeshifting nudibranch thing. No regrets

A Circle of Saur

A gift for a friend of her character and the pokemon team I designed for them :U

A background! Also my one and only serious paid commission ever ;;v;;

Fanart of Noell Stevenson's webcomic Nimona. I was also experimenting with shading a bit.

My monk from the 5e playtest.

Also a gift for a friend of their character.

These are things I did not draw. These are the tests I did for a collab with the wonderful talented Mewitti on her webcomic Alterity which I offered to color! One panel that actually made it into the comic before struggles kind of put the collab on ice ;;w;; I want to be a colorist maybe someday, but time management is a thing...

I love sunset colors and dramatic lighting

And this one's acrtually in the comic! See it in action here!

Some art I've done for my World of Darkness rpg group :U

Also a comic retelling of my character's tutorial session in which Bad Stuff Happens and he's introduced to said darkness of the world. I'm currently working on page two (in which much more actually happens.) I have NO idea why I decided to paint it, as I rarely paint anything and usually cel shade as you can tell from the rest of this thread.

Holy moly, that is some slick coloring, son! I can't stop oogling that commission you shared with those wintery mountains. Talk about stunning!

Certainly hope to see more art (and comics!) from you. Keep on keeping on :D

Ahhh thank you so much! I really worked hard on those mountains and I'm still really proud of that commission in general! Also one of the big reasons I'm excited to work on void stuff is so I can get faster at coloring 'cause I LOVE COLORING! I am, in fact, working on my intro comic RIGHT NOW so you should see some updates on that front soon! ;;w;;
