I fear that people just didn\'t \"get\" dawg\'s. That shit was genius. So much story in just 8 pages. Deep as hell.

Mase: I liked the old, cartoony feel to the first few pages of your match, but otherwise there wasn\'t a whole lot of substance to it. You only had a week to complete this, so I have to give you props for the quality of your artwork. In that respect you were the clear winner, but Dawg\'s entry was a much more entertaining, creative story.
Dawg: Your story was just plain fun to read, and I can\'t help but root for Mandrake. What you lacked in terms of quality you more than made up for with your sense of humor. I\'m pulling for you in this contest, so you better not disappoint. >:c

Mase i like your angles you put on they looked pretty good to me but you confused me a little bit... you are talking about Florida Bill then Mandrake, oh well just me but nice job
Dawgmastas you make yours looks like a old cartoon great idea but i feel like there wasnt alot up there you know but i liked the ideas with the old cartoon feel to it you did a good job but see if your comic looked like that picture up there in the whole thing i would have liked it a little better good job to you both!

Mase: Even tough I found the story a bit empty, read it like a quick plot with nearly no action to justify, I liked the first pages with the old cartoon formatting, but then, after, some panels were kinda sloppy, in the coloured part, when not in the lines, color-wise. It just didn\'t look you\'re fighting for your life to be regained, BUT I found interesting that you took another angle to describe that (like being some kind of fugitive hunted dude, which works, but as I said before, a bit empty.. could be developed more to stay in this concept)
Dawg: The inks are simple but working. The backgrounds in the first pages are my favourites, kind of a mix between random and detailed. I liked the cameos too. Points up for the \"buying the soul\" idea of winning the match.

Mase, the single panel per page thing wasn\'t doing anything for me. I still laughed a couple times, but like nothing happened in your comic. The quality was great except for maybe the last page which seemed kind of bleh.
Dawg, I like that you\'re apparently got a plot of some sort going, even though storywise not much happened in this particular comic anyway. Funny as always, actually maybe even funnier than some of your recent works. Good quality considering the time you had for this.

Mase, your artwork is great in this, but your writing isn\'t as good. I was pretty much expecting more from you, but just shooting Mandrake and telling the viewers that Yen \"cheated death\" isn\'t gonna cut it for me. And ...........uhh .........what\'s with Mandrake\'s \"death\", I just don\'t get it.
Dawg, I like yours, it has comedy and a bit of a better story, but a little frustrating at the end. Other than that, you get my votes.

Can\'t decide... which I like... better...
Both of you did pretty amazing work with expressions. I think that the whole \"Android Mandrake\" thing kind of threw me off in Mase\'s comic, just because logically, I can think of no reason to make an android of Mandrake when Yen has never met him before. XD They were both quite impressive so far as quality and consistancy, not to mention entertainment, goes, but I think I\'m going to give my vote to dawgmastas, because I like where Mandrake\'s revival plot seems to be going.
Man. I don\'t comment on quality enough. I thought they were both up to your usual standard or better, especially considering it was only a week to work on.

Well, whatever happens, in roughly 4 hours an amazing fighter dies for a second time in his life.
What a dismal way to look at it. XD Looking forward to both entries, glad to hear they were both sent in.
