Tdk - Nice stuff for the most part. I think your work could definitely benefit from tones or shading, everything is very flat and without a lot of the detail in the lineart, things appear pretty lifeless. Some more fluidity and detail/variation in your line widths would go a loooong way, and tones would help boost it up too. Of course I realize this is a tournament and perhaps those are things you should experiment in normal battles with. I'd also change out that text, it makes the entire comic feel very MS-paint-esque to me for whatever reason, its not terrible, but not pleasing either. Keep it up though dude.

If I somehow move on, I'll do something there, but with no supporting first round, I had no clue where to go with this.
