Mags the Assistant





She was a basic "rabbit from a hat", until she climbed into her owner's magic hat while magic was set to "on". Oh no! In the confusion, she accidentally sent her owner somewhere into the realm from which the hat magic stems. Foibles! Now she's on a quest to figure out how to get him back and, like, apologize a lot.

She can use the magic wand her owner left behind to fire powerful energy blasts, and pull practically anything out of her hat... but those things will be essentially random. So, you know, usefulness varies.

There's a strong middle-eastern bent to this stuff; pretty interesting. I don't see that often. Nice shading and detail on the old fella with his cup. Also like the color work with what I assume are markers on the image with the red sun in the background; good job expressing depth with the colors.

Hey, all! I haven't been here in a while. I've got a design update of Lexie that I think I like... But I'd love to hear any thoughts you have on this.

I think she ended up pretty cute, whereas I was hoping she would look at least sexy AND tough. A lot of it is body language and facial expression, but also my illustration style (her eyes are SO round here).

But my question is about her clothes. I know her shoes are rather large here, so I'd like to shrink them some. But her general outfit needs something. Maybe some finger tape or gloves? A scarf? She's supposed to be a punchy-times brawler, but I feel like she needs an accessory or two.

I needed that to tell what size my character was. Thanks for taking her bra-shopping!
