Rah- Nice solid line work and variation. I feel like you handled the 3 page limit pretty well. You have a nice rhythm to your line work. I'm looking forward to seeing more of it.
Fearn- I really like your penmanship in this comic and I feel like I was along for the ride for the entire 3 pages.
Thank you both for an enjoyable read.

RAH- This comic was classic void. A rumble, the preview of some cool powers, some humor and a chuckle worthy ending. I love that Rampant rabbit isn't a buxom bombshell ,but just a frumpy looking bun-Mom. Its so unexpected a fighter for the tournament, I can't help but wonder how she'll get through things next. Keep up the good work!
FEARN- I think yours is the only comic where your character broke the fourth wall (literally!) to get the upper hand. All of us can always expect something creative and quite unorthodox when it comes to you and your comics, and this round 1 is no exception. I am loving this art style you got going on because it reminds me ever so much of Edward Gorey and his MYSTERY! title sequence on PBS. Just rather funny that instead of a dark stormy night, your theme is cute roly poly bunnies.

Rah: You picked great colors for this! It was funny at first with haret's rambling but it actually started to feel stale halfway through, would have just liked more action instead.
Fearn: que cute! It's extremely simple but it honestly feels so professional at the same time. Can definitely see this in a book.
Great job both of you!

Rah, you have presented a solid wonderful work that does not disappoint. It feels alive like an MTV cartoon short, that the only thing missing was the raucous music as one reads it. Jolly good work wot wot!
Fern, this was divine. You are a comic artist's artist and one after my own heart with this piece. It is so delightful, and simple, yet thoroughly engaging. This has a New Yorker feel to it, and I love it. It is definitely one of my favourite comics on the site as I write this.
Top drawer marks from me to both of you.

Great job both of you!
RAH - Love the pop-art like style! Only thing of note is that the black outline on the hair-buzzer sort of blends into the panel border and confused me a bit when I was first reading it. Maybe outline the fingers and the buzzer with white or something so it's more obvious the fingers are on the same panel as the hair buzzer?
Fearn - This is fantastic. The page with the sea of bunnies and Haret's hands is very fun to look at.

You guys both killed this.
RAH - I LOVE the motion in this. Everything feels snappy and funny, and very expressive. I think everything really fit with the look you were going for, time crunch considered. Nice job.
Fearn - This last year you have been making these really experimental comics and I love it, the fact that you got 24 panels on the first page and have it still be interesting is awesome. Your work is like reading a really good children's picture book, but with that little bit of 'dark' flair to it (if that makes sense). Nice job on the silent comic and the 4th wall breaking with the format.

Light speed critique: Rah, I'd question lifting her leg up to scratch her ear , when her hand can already each it. but it's too cute! Fearn: if it was possible to say a comic was too cute for it's own good, this'd be it. only real crit is the jump between panels on page 3 seems in the slightly wrong direction.

le Fred: Rah(?) - this is good. I mean, of course it is, you're good at comics. It doesn't feel like much though, especially since I don't got a clue what much of the text means, I'm sure there's a lot that gets lost. Really like the pink/cyan though, that's lovely.

That was the idea, she's supposed to be just rambling on (about hair) and RR doesn't understand her so it's all a bit confusing. But I realised too late that was probably a stupid idea, or I didn't convey it very well, especially considering I only had a few hours overall to work on the comic and couldn't get much actual content in there...whoops

FERN - I love this yo. I love the style, it's got a unique feeling that just permeates the page with wonder. Simple, but oh so excellent.

Artist
You're art is so dynamic, I can't tell you how much I love your linework. Haret is so dang cute. This is totally how you tell a fight comic in 3 pages. Plus pink and teal will always be the best.
Fearn -
Ahhhh so nice! This caught me completely off guard. It's like, really simple, but in the absolute best way! The simple lines of the bunnies, the way they move, the dark blotch of Haret and the texture of the grass. It's so well made. I really hope you show this all around, because it's such a good comic.
