Neens - It was cool! I like the colors, I found some of the expressions a little bland. They weren't bad, but they felt like they could be taken further than they were. Maybe something to look into? I don't get the clown. The clown is weird. It feels like a big lipped alligator moment sort of thing.

Santana - That glove is the coolest thing ever and I want one. I love the little cover page thing, with the old cartridge, so cool. I liked the animations, but they do feel a bit unnecessary, and I don't mind your dog penis so much, but the humping in multiple panels seemed a bit excessive.

thank you for the actual crit cherubas c: I'll admit it, I thought about stopping there myself while I was drawing, but I wanted to do it just as I had thumbed it out, so it's no surprise that someone mentioned it. I.. I'm glad I went for the clown though, serious. I understand the confusion in emotion at the end there, and that's all on me. I laughed, and hoped her look would be more of frustration than of sadness. I hope I don't sound like I'm dismissing your crit, because it's valid!

I like this battle, cause on the one hand you've got a lovable kid character who likes video games, I've got one of those, and on the other hand you have a loyal pet zombie dog, I've got one of those too! Both of these battles were entertaining and enjoyable. You guys did pretty well overall. In both cases I really only have one complaint.

Neens, you had a really entertaining and enjoyable story right up until the panel on page 6 where Anthony appears to be dead. In my opinion you should have ended it there or on the next panel with her saying oops or whatever, cause at that point this pleasant, relatively lighthearted tale gets kinda dark and unnecessarily tragic. That just didn't feel like it served any purpose and it leaves me with like... Emotion confusion.

Santana, it's cool that you worked in video games and all, good work with that. The motion panels weren't really necessary cause I feel like static panels could have given the same info and stuff, but kudos for going the extra mile. But I don't care about doggy dick. In addition to drawing him anatomically correct even though his design sheet doesn't, we have him peeing, we have him humping, and we have Anthony bringing up red rockets. We get it, you're really excited that this animal has a penis. And nuts. And an asshole. I hate dogs.

Galvo: good point on the bubbles and panels. I feel like I'm learning so much in the last weeks while doing these battles. I'll keep that in mind next time, thanks man

lol good match you two. a very charming round!  I liked both of these. And I like how you both raised the bar a bit to finish the other off.

Neens: Love the color, and the story. Anthony shows off his true bratty video game kid side and  "Girl" kills a child with the thing he loves the most. One question the clown at the end is that a jab at Patch Adams, the Billy Madison head trauma clown, the make a wish foundation or a void character i don't even know about ... or all of the above? Loved it either way and a strong showing!

Eric: I loved the addition of simple animations that are subtle and I felt added to the story telling instead of being wild and distracting. The loops worked and didn't over power anything. The Z.A.P.ing (Zombie Acid Pee) of the plant was a nice touch as was the zombie dog dry hump. I like how Anthony showed off some of his powers but stayed innocent in that he killed but didn't really mean it, he was just chopping and she got in the way.


Both: So i expect either of you that finishes to add the others powers to your next round.... aka a fully colored and animated comic battle!!  Lol or not great round you two

nina: absolutely love the color on these, and the laser bone... i need to get one of those for my pug. i straight up woke up my girl when i laughed out loud at that clown.. fuckin perfect. i give you the win

eric: well played dude- the extra added animation was tasty- but i had to dock you points for straight up ripping the covers from these games. i would have expected you to at least make up some void inspired versions of these games

the panel where the dog finds him and he says "AAHHH!" with a girlish scream: the star goes after the word, and clipping that bubble is crucial, because at it stands now, my eye led me down to the panel first, before it went to the right- dont put bubbles share bubbles with panels unless you intend to lead your reader down there

haha thanks! if anyone is wondering if the end is supposed to sad.. I thought it was hilarious, but I can see where that would come from. but I might be a bad person.

speaking of bad people; eric, dog boners? GROSS. but aside from that this had some nice touches! cute animations, and I liked that girl's shirt was put on inside out. fun fact is that they do have names but they are secret because I was lazy however many years ago. but yes, nice battle!

Ha! I love the art in both of yours! Neens, your cartoony style is so great and fitting. A cute but very sad ending... lol. Eric, nice job on the animations and cleanliness! The dog humping motions were a great touch! I also like that we got to see Anthony's powers this time around. Very great matchup!
