Nice job on this round, both of you! I have to say after reading these... ... ... I could totally stand behind this ship. LOL
@Flutterbyes: I love your humor! I like the fact that Vespa makes the comment "cute girls without heads" because it implies that she still thinks she's CUTE?? xD Also the gag at the end was hilarious!
@noiraa: I like the atmosphere and mood you have going with the tones in your pages! I can totally relate to the girls here too, gotta protect your girlfriends, yo!

@PyrasTerran! Thanks for your time and Crit, as they will help me get better! I will certainly keep your notes in mind and practice with some more expressive facial movement!

Flutterbyes: Man I really love that last page, I legit lol'd! It's a damn shame you couldn't finish filling these lines with shades, that's mostly what you're missing for this to be really solid.
Noiraa: I like this story and I like the textures~ There's two things I think you need to address in your next comic: All the characters' expressions are really quite flat; Their expressions barely change at all from pages 1-5, concerned barely changes from static, leering/aggression only looks half as aggressive, the guy is a bit nonchalant looking for having a knife to his neck, all in all you gotta stretch those faces alot more than what you're doing right now. One thing I can tell you: if you want them to really look like they're gonna kick this guy's ass, lower those eyebrows closer to their eyes in the bottom panels in page 6, and in page 7. eyebrows can tell a lot for your character so play with their positions more. Also, I'm not a fan of the font you're using for the black smoke word bubbles, it was a better idea to handwrite it like you did last round.

XD Oh my gosh. Before the tournament started, Shen asked me a few questions about Vespa for shipping purposes, and I was like "Hmm, I don't know about shipping. Maybe we'll see what her chemistry is with the characters first..." And now, two matches in, it's pretty clear she's all about cute girls! XD
I WAS actually pretty curious about Shay's social life after seeing her play the mysterious grim reaper role. I like how you had Vespa being all mysteriously charming, with that one-otherworldly-being-to-another understanding. Jerks like that guy came to the wrong club and messed with the wrong girls, all right!

AHHHHHH!!!! @ Flutterbyes! I loved how you drew Shay! And I completely understand my week was really crazy too. I'm just happy to see Shay get her competition in this round!
I hope you enjoy my entry/ how I portrayed Vespa- she seems like such a fun/flirty character!

I really wanted to make this one great, and I had a nice workflow going initially, but then my week got really exhausting and sucky, and it all kind of went kaput. I do hope I got it to a decent enough level of completion to honor the quality you brought last round.

@noiraa; You've got some really gorgeous panels in this comic and the greyscale sets a really nice mood. My main complaint is that your characters don't feel nearly expressive enough for the story you're trying to tell. Especially when they catch the dude in his lie, their faces make it seem like they just heard a bad pun rather than figured out he was drugging Shay's friend.
