Summer has come and gone, and as many of us return to school or normal schedules at work, we look back fondly on what has been a terrific Void summer!

2016 Invitationals

Activity has boomed across the site thanks in part to this year's Invitationals tournament, and we're seeing many members sticking around long after their part in the tournament had ended. Each of our new members has delivered something unique and special to the site and that creative force only grew stronger with each passing round, up until the final bracket!

2016 Month of the Dead

The annual Month of the Dead returns in October, and with a fresh new crew of victims artists let's break down what makes this month so special:

All dead characters will be available to use for any battle type!

And we mean any battle type: Last year we expanded the rules for dead characters, as well as introducing the Annihilation match type, giving artists even more creative freedom with afterlife stories. Check the specs below:

-All dead characters may participate in Scar matches. Just like living characters, artists cannot use their dead characters again without updating their character sheet, should they receive a scar.

-All dead characters may participate in Death matches. If the living character loses, they die. But if the dead character loses, they are Annihilated. The stakes are higher for the artist with the dead character so choose this challenge carefully!

-All dead characters may participate in Annihilation matches against other dead characters. Any character that is Annihilated has been blasted from existence and can never be used on the site again in any competitive form (only cameos and artist matches are acceptable ways to use an Annihilated character)
