TDK: better luck next time bro, good on you for not defaulting though

Fu: This matchup concept is so clever and heart-wrenching, it carries the entire comic. Iza really can't catch a break! But targeting her good nature and having her possessed by someone as nasty as Samira is a really interesting spin. I think you also, with your setbacks, really have a good idea on what to focus on - mainly comic clarity, and so even when the comic turns to sketches I can still understand what's going on. Great effort! Excited to see what happens in the next round

TDK: What is here is cool but i really just wanna see more of skull head Kars

FU: I love you're inks and they're super amazing in this. Reading through the story it all makes sense after a couple readthroughs however the big issue comes with the clarity of Meridia and Kars talking in her head. the way it was framed made it look like he was standing next to her and came out of nowhere.  Part of the issue was she was using the same word bubbles rather than thought bubbles, so it came off like she was still talking outloud but Siza (as I will call Samira possessing Iza) mentions her looking like a lost puppy which implyes she wasn't talking at all. I think this could have worked if you did a kind of filter or different inking stlye like what you did  in the first panel of page 8. The reader needs something to let us know the conversation between the two is mental and just in her head. Besides that though this was a great story and I look forward to seeing where this goes on.

Hope you're feeling better too! I can understand the rushed work, but I really enjoyed your story!! Iza was a character I wasn't 100% familiar with but I feel like you gave us enough context and info of what kind of person she is versus what was happening. I was a little confused as to what was happening and had to read 4 and 5 over a couple of times but I think that was probably due to 4 being less rendered. Aside from that, fun read!!

TDK: Well shit, this was a fun two pages.  Love the little detail of Kars being a talking skull accessory.  If you got the time and desire to do it, I would love to see this entry in full so we can get our rad skeleton wizard back to his former glory.

Fukuro: I super dig this concept of Samira possessing Izanami and the dog-related insults she spouts.

Fu: even your rushed inks look great! Took me a hot minute to understand what was happening, i was baffled Iza would tell anyone to "eat shit" but once I caught on i thought it was brilliant! I dont think I quite understand who the two people on the first page were- in fact the story might have read just as well without that page and just started in the graveyard. Your use of Meridia's cards was pretty clever. I'm excited to see where this goes, and what all the ghost of Samira makes Iza do!

Im also excited to meet merida and samira. I dont know much about them, so this is gonna be a great experience for me as a reader!
