Galvo2304 is the 197th incarnation of the man once known as Galvo.
Every year a new version of Galvo is produced and sent on a mission to go back to VOID CITY circa 2099 to stop an apocalyptic event from taking place, unfortunately the system designed to send these clones back in time was not calibrated correctly, so the chance for error of which year the clone is sent to is high.

Being as Galvo2304 is sent back to 2014, he takes it upon himself to enter the Speed Death Tournament, knowing that if he wins, he might be granted an audience with the man responsible for the destruction of his beloved city.

And if he dies, well... he can just come back again as Galvo2305.
Isn't that nice.
