Also- how much did you spend on grayscale markers? Jeez. I know I dropped about $60 on Pitt pens for this round alone but those Copics ain't cheap. Hence my reluctance to get into them.

TDK: I feel like there was quite a bit of humor we missed out on here for lack of dialogue although PIE HEADSHOTS always come through loud and clear. You used some interesting shots and better poses than usual even it its less thorough than your usual comics lately.
DX: Its safe to say this is the best work you've done to date, great linework, killer inventive page layouts, very nice gray marker work and a clever little plot to boot. You're firing on all cylinders this time around and it shows. I think your variously and constantly evolving spreads are the most impressive, with maps, book charts, skulls POV, and fourth wall breaking stunts- huge props for keeping it interesting to read rather than being confined to the prison of panels. I can't wait to see these beasts come after Toro now.

Okay Dx2, I literally laughed out lout (at work) when Kars opened the package. Also, I loved how both chars have low Charisma so their other stats can be higher. Brings me back. The whole getting trapped inside a game seemed gimmicky at first, but I think you pulled it off pretty well. Awesome job.
And tdk, it looks like you were headed in a good direction, so keep working on pacing when making your comics. Maybe try to do fewer pages to make sure you can finish them. You did have some good visuals and poses going on there; with a little dialogue it would have been great.

Hey, honestly, some of the imagery here, was really impressive.
TDK, walking away on page 2, brilliant.
Dx2, Having the view from inside the skull, amazing.
You guys did great.

Vid: Glad you liked it.
Bobo: I was afraid it might get too gimmicky at some point. There was a lot more I wanted to do, but I just didn't have time to flesh it out so I ended up just cutting it down to things I needed to get done with Hungry. (IE Somehow revealing to him that he has powerssssss...)
Tin: Thanks, brother! I worked really hard on it and I'm glad it shows. It's the most 'finished' work I've ever really put out that comes to mind. Had to put some of that learnin' you've been giving me all these years to work at some point, huh?
The copics really aren't cheap at all. $7 a pen. I took Hiemie's advice and picked up a set of PrismaColors for $50. (That's 10 pens.) They aren't as precise as the Copics and they bleed a bit more, but they got the job done and didn't die on me. I'd say they were worth the money.
