I was gonna sit here and break this down into a critique, but I started this, got to the end and after leaning back in my chair, ACTUALLY said out loud, "Why is this on void?"
You have such a rich concept- and this peek into the past really cinches it. We discussed this tragedy over discord and this BB is every bit the type of comic I was hoping it'd be. This is such an established and fascinating world and an adventure with these two independent of VOID itself as they find these mystery space butchers an epic in itself. If this was a weekly webcomic I would be reading it. If this was being published for print, I would be buying it. I don't wanna dissuade you from having fun here, but I am seriously more interested in what you can do with your unique concept if you let it flower on its own, rather than shoehorn other peoples characters into your narrative in order to battle other folks.

MAAAN, everything here is nice and polished as usual, but GOD these alien designs are SO GOOD! The evil guys look so unique and original in how they're all unified with their design (Granted I haven't gone through Shizana's archive yet really, so I dunno how much of this is new), and all the cops are so cuuuute <3

I felt the comic did an amazing job at showing how Zana used to be with her ex partner showing her being more cocky and gung ho fitting her attitude when apart from Shi at times while also giving us a clue how evil TWENTYFOUR is. The comic read real smoothly though I think the translation of the badguys may have come off a tad bit too saturday morning cartoon evil, with both goals and the fact they just left her for dead when having enough time to grab all samples? Id like to see a bit more of OMEGA. Also I felt not much development was given of Shi he was skittish but a lot of what we know of him didnt really come through, but I guess it was less his story and more Zana's but there is always future comics and this was a fun comic that had a nice tone

Rovick did indeed get captured in Shizana Vs. Louise. But don't you worry, I have plans

Wait, wasn't rovick captured during the rescue mission of the spiderbabies? Did he escapes since? SO MUCH QUESTIONS

Think of this as an extended intro comic for Shizana.

The original script was actually around 25 pages, but then I realized I needed to get it out before my Valentine's Day comic, so I cut-cut-cut it down to 12 pages. It kind of became an exercise in delivering way too much information in way too little space @_@ Hopefully it did so effectively.

Also I redesigned AND renamed my badguys, 'cause calling them "ONE" made writing dialogue super hard |D
