ironlion82, you should ink your next battle. The blacks look nice, but they would be MUCH better once inked.

Blinkspeed, your backgrounds are very empty. I would suggest adding more shading, but what you really need to do is get closer in your panels. Also, at least add some hatching for shading in general, or just do it digitally, since you ink on the comp.

There were a lot of things I really liked about both of these, Ironlion, I love the action and the anatomy was well drawn, only thing was sometimes, especially in the earlier pages is seemed a tiny bit jumbled. I think that's something easily fixed by smoothing things out a bit, the sketchiness of everything made it a bit difficult to read fluidly but overall i enjoyed it a lot. Blink, after seeing you battle brainbaists I knew I'd probably start following your work, i enjoy the quirky silly humor of your style and the intense animated characters. I'm looking forward to seeing some more stuff out of you and even a possible battle once I can kick my own ass into getting characters on this site. Keep them coming both you guys

Uggh. There are so many "if only"s for this match it hurts. Well good news is I got it up (with barely enough time to spare), bad news is I could've done a LOT better. Oh well, hope you guys find it good enough.
Now excuse me while I knock myself out for a 3 day long nap.
