PS. u should color a whole battle in next time!! Coz from the ample coloring we saw in this you are a very competent colorist!

ROBO: nice visuals! some very interesting details u got goin on there, especially in the 24th century locales! The high angle with Lotus lunging & strangling Trav with her vines from above is sweet-ass (need to try that perspective stuff myself!)!! A little thin on story & dialogue-wise, not as quirky or humorous as ur other battles. Great effort though! And still an avid member of the Traveler Fan Club!!

QTR: An awesome return to form! Just as involving as ur acclaimed Lotus intro story! Except this story had a beautiful sweet innocent tone about it!
U got some great writing there! The idea of her drinking from a bird bath is wonderful (and sets the romantic, almost Parisian feel) - afterall, where is an "innocent flower" gonna drink in a "concrete world"? The art is great, and suits perfect to the kind of story u were telling. Kudos on the backgrounds. Cool perspective/foreshortening on Lotus at the bottom of the first page! And the image (page2) of little Lotus being dragged away by her mother and Trav walking and cheekily whistling away is absolutely PRICELESS!! Just like the final image on the last page!!
Weak points on the actual battle on page4, but the vine attack on the last page swimming sandworms-style was very successful! My only suggestions for you to work on would be fight scenes (which i'm not really a big fan of to do as well) and some work on ur layouts. Other than that, very very cool cool battle on ur behalf! Always an honor to see an artist improving!!

Very sweet, both of you!  Lotus - a much better fight from you, I like your sketchy style.  And the ending was very cute.  HEART!
Traveler - not bad, a little lax, but not bad at all.

qtr - very nice story and writing; better than mine on this fight, for sure. not sure how i feel about the mixing of color and black and white, and sketchy hand drawings with computer effects. one of the better interpretations of Trav that i've seen, fo shizzle.

naw naw! traveler *sent* lotus 350 years into the future! i guess now that that really does not make sense. sorry everybody.

qtr, that story was just adorable with the blue hair ribbon.  ^_^  Creative points wheee!  Yes, just to reiterate the previous comment, if the text is spoken in the third person then we just assume that it is not Lotus' thoughts.

Mr. Robot, it makes no sense to have Lotus standing in the exact same spot 350 years later without moving.

Oh wow qtr... AWESOME job, you've really improved a lot from your last battle. I absolutely love the perspective you put into the first page where she's sitting in the bath. Your composition and angles are pretty impressive too. You rule! Keep it up

One note though: I don't think it's necessary to put in "Narrator's words not lotus"... even if we did think it WAS lotus who was speaking, it doesn't detract too much from the storyline. So yeah. ^^;

Traveler: It was getting interesting but then you just killed off the story line... and what was with the 350 years later thing? :O_o: Still, you draw lotus really well, I like her eyes in the last page

i have a question robot... if traveler's horn was say... removed, would there be a gaping hole, brains spewing out, or just a wound, some wires...what?or is it like melded with his skul and cant come out anyway...?
