This was tough for me to judge, because they're actually really evenly matched!

Well done both of you!
@radji Love your gritty-yet-easy-on-the-eyes style.  I don't mind the lack of color, the textures and bold shapes is perfectly satisfying to me.  Storywise, i felt it was simple but still fun!  Perhaps smiley meant to say something more like "she's thanking me? no...she's mad, but just being polite."

@Reecer I'm really impressed with your clean colors, and panel quantity. your attention to shadows is great. your use of gradients gives everything that little visual pop.  As everyone else said, it was hard to tell what was going on in the last 2 pages.  Hopefully once we get an explanation, we can judge the story better.

@radji - love your stuff as always. there is a little bit of issue with the way it was translated, i think? it didn't read really cleanly, but i admit I don't know if that's a speaking squirk for smee and lee. overall a really good read, nice and quick and fun.

@reecer - hey, do me a favor and look at your thumbnails, look how CRISP that coloring looks when its all small. its not as clean when its large, but honestly that impressed the stuffing out of me. I can't pinpoint it but you're developing something really dynamic right now and I'm happy I get to watch it develop more. :D
I guess I can just echo... I didn't catch your joke this time? your last page has a speech bubble that wasn't filled with white, its readable but just a bit odd. Overall, not too much to crit, as its quite a nice comic. Since we have slime girls, there's not much anatomy to discuss, right? :D Good job Reecer!!

I already talked about these on Vcast but I will repeat my thoughts here for the written version
Radji: I love your stlye and this comic is short and sweet. In particular I love the limited color you have been doing in these past couple comics. The only crit i have to say is panel 4 on page the white splotch effects obscure the panel and it may have been better to have made the slime explosion that white instead of adding splotches covering up the good art of the panel. Other than that great comic.

Cro: This comic is a great improvement on all your art skills. I like the bright daytime colors you used and Smee and Lee are the most fluid looking characters i have seen you draw, partially because they are slime but still really good job. I also enjoyed the jokes in the comic, the only part I didn't quite get is the final line said by them. I think it may have worked better if you continued more of the quote from before so we know what they were continuing. I do also like the implication of the curse rather than fully spelling it out for us. Overall this was a good comic and a great step up.

Radji I see so much improvement in this comic!  Very strong in every way.  I am sad it was short because I wanted more.

Cro, I'm gonna admit I reread this a few times and I still don't quite get what happened.

Radji, I love your art in this, the twins are wonderfully gooey and Hoang looks great. She's got one too many arms in 3.1, but otherwise, I really like how you draw her. A breezy little comic that shows more than it tells, with a fun little gag that wouldn't play out the same with any other pair of characters.

Reecer, your colors are definitely improved, but be careful with the random changes in the color of the sky.  The orange works okay for emphasis on an action,  but the purple sky in 1.3 seems arbitrary. I'm also glad you ditched the newspaper borders. Bump your font up a few points. I like that you pull the camera back a few times and show Hoang in full figure in her environment. 5.1, a shot of a non descript door, while serving its purpose, is still a really dull establishing shot. You still seem to be shying away from drawing the interior of her apartment, so we've got a picture of a door, and an extreme closeup of Hoang's twig-like arm going into the trash can. When your character is as unusual looking as Hoang, those closeup shots aren't going to read as quickly and clearly as they would otherwise, so keep that in mind. Overall, a fun scene, and hopefully we'll see Dr. Hoang moving toward some goal in her next comic.

I liked both of these comics for different reasons.  Radji's is nicely polished with some sweet monochrome coloring, and Cro's sense of humor continues to tickle me.  It was a hard one to vote on since you both created some entertaining pieces.

Good job, y'all!
