I see both of your went for the bittersweet route.
Cats: Nice use of the tinted black and white with spot colors. Here it seems particularly suited to a story about a samurai and a supernatural foe. The resolution makes sense, but at first it looked kind of like she just put Usagi down to give them time to take their own life in a classic way, when it could have been done way more dramatically and intensely.

Monday: Once again I LOVE your colors, particularly in those first few pages. It's like a cool lithograph or screenprint comic. I'm not sure I read the last panel on page 6 right though, so there's something up with the imagery there.

I loved both of these and it turned out pretty close for me tbh. you should both feel good about what you've done so far!

I'm loving alma a lot in this comic and I really want more of her, I think she's really interesting! the drawings are solid so there's no confusion and the colors paint the mood.

usagi is also growing on me in these. the colors plus simpler stories are honestly winning me over, and these comics have been some of my faves from you.

Cat: ahhh poor Alma, shes getting so much worse, im worried for her! i love your blacks but the lines are a bit messy. the seppuku ending was HOLY FUCK. good shit!
Monday: I love the colours youve been trying on! The world youre creating is beautiful. you made Alma so sad and sympathetic, it was a lovely ending. Gorgeous comic!
