This is really well-written! I was super engaged the whole time, not the least because I totally understand Stanley's pain of working a bad retail job and feeling stuck in life :'D
That cliffhanger really has me wanting to read more, so I hope you'll continue the story!

Love love love love this!!!
Although it's old, there are some stellar moments where the art really starts to shine. Pages 9 & 10 are appropriately weighty, and the stair panels on page 12 are fab.
It's excellently written and paced - I hope we get to see more soon!

I really enjoyed the story and progression throughout, big points from me for it being a Slice of Life theme <3 One of my favourite things to read about.
Art wise, it is untidy, but since it's an older piece of work I won't go and harp on it. Now, let's see some up-to-date art to go with that great story-telling talent.

won't critique the art cause it's 4 years old and i'm assuming not indicative of what you can do now; that aside I really liked the story and am really interested to see where it goes from here. Would love to battle this character in the future

I won't lie, this comic's story and progression is great. It starts off hitting home right off the bat. Great slice of life style comic about the mundane life of a poor dude in the world. It switched gears at the right point and kept me reading. I had a rough time getting past the quality of art, but then again this is from like 4 years ago so I am letting that shit slide and I wanna see some new junk from ya! I can't really crib this much anymore considering it's age and I don't know where you stand today as an artist/writer. Give us more.

Seriously, when I read your comment about this being from 2013, I was going to PM you and ask you to reconsider uploading old work... but I read it and wow, holy shit, this is a good ass comic. I mean, your quality is poor but you're a really good storyteller. I think you really understand pacing, flow, layout... I just wish it didn't have such a sloppy look. Now, go make some new stuff!

Just a disclaimer: This is a comic I drew around 2013 and never got around to posting. I've only edited minimally and just felt that I needed to put this comic up before creating any more.
