Thanks for all the feedback guys ;-; I don't know if I'll keep doing markers, but if I do I'll definitely make sure to vary my colors more. I'm working with kind of a limited palette, so it can be hard to find the right mixture of colors without going out and buying a bunch of new markers (not that I would be against that hehe). It feels good to turn in a colored comic again, though!

Ok! I have a bit of a break till the next exam, so... let's comment here!

Radji: I SERIOUSLY love Louise she is such a good mom. And you won me with Bill's various facial expressions. Guess the kids actually managed to get a new pet!

Bobo: The paneling is great! The composition too! I love that first panel with Bill resting on the ground! I agree with Pyras about the coloring thing, but damn the markers give it a great touch! And the spiders were so cute!

omg more Bill and adorable spider children these were both precious XD im going to associate thses two together now from now on, Bill as worlds best babysitter haha!

bobo i agree with pyras that markers are a brave and difficult medium, you did very well in the lovely bright colours but maybe some shading would having broken up the large bits of colour, like maybe some patchy grass with a darker green or some patchy fur with a darker brown or something. i LOVE that you made the spider family actual spiders you drew them SO CUTE lol and Bill was just immediately taken with them, love it! Its great to see such a friendly comic!

radji: lol aw poor Bill! hes less fond of the spider family in this one, though they are just as fond of him XD i love the fear in his eyes and his desperate smile! I agree this could go for a little more background in the first two pages, i didnt know if this was happening in a house or a cave or under a porch or what we were doin until the last panel. Still, I love your use of black and white and your great expressions!

radji: your character work is strong as usual but there's a lack of grounding for this comic due to the lack of backgrounds. It would serve you better in the future to try to crank one out at least in the first page so we get the setting.

Bobo: Bold to go with the markers but since there's no variation in colors (dawgman's fur is just one shade of brown, mane is one shade of brown, grass is one shade of green), you got this patchy situation that feels amateur. Next time you try this medium, use various shades to compensate for the patch-bleeding that occurs when you try to color such large expanses with just one shade

Hahah, it was actually all marker, but they weren't great and kept running out of ink. Thanks so much for the critique! I am currently obsessed with Alice in Wonderland, so hearing that comparison means SO MUCH to me! I hope I can push this world even further, and I can't wait to draw more baby spiders hehe

Bobo, i really liked the atmosphere of your comic, so colorful and full of green ( am i making any sense?).
Bill is an innocent character and fit very well in nature, especially with colors. His way of charming people just by being his fluffy self is a breath of fresh air within the angst-weirdfull cast of Void city.
your use of red to represent Louise's greed for genes is a good method to create a contrast between the innocent Bill and Louise, and OH MYGOD baby spiders !! SO cute ! your designs are Alice in Wonderland- grade !!

First off, your story was really cute, and I can't get over the spider babies crawling all over Bill. I also enjoyed seeing a story where Louise was just completely not interested at all in her opponent. The slice of life feel made it that much cuter, and really fit the shorter format well. I liked your shading where you managed to fit it in, even though it was inconsistent. My only real issue is the lack of backgrounds. Even though the background looked a bit rushed on the last panel, I really appreciated how much it added to the feeling of this being their underground penthouse and not just some grey void. I noticed on your last battle that your backgrounds were minimal, as well, so I'd definitely encourage you to work on fitting those in more, even if you have to cut down your story a bit so you have time for backgrounds.

I'm really inspired by you, Radji. You crank out so many of these comics, and I feel like you just keep getting better and better! Just work on those backgrounds, and you'll be even more unstoppable than you already are! hehe

Ahah poor Bill. He really needs to get his facial expression game down. At least he found someone who isn't intimidated by it lol. Thanks for the fun battle, Radji! I can tell I'm out of practice, but I'm really glad to get back to learning!
