PYRAS- This new style of yours is really groovin' with me. I'll admit you get a tad heavy handed with the filters and noise. Sometimes crisp art may be all you need. Perhaps dialing back on all the bells and whistles could be an idea.
Right off the bat I get such cinematic vibes off your comic. The sequence with Gigara's explosion and subsequent monstrous transformation really was worth the extra pages to showcase it one page at a time. This is how you do big kaiju fighting on void!

Pyras - I feel like you are starting to get a handle on your lineless art style, but please use some lines on those word bubbles or find some way to not have them blend in sometimes. The biggest offender of this is page 1, panel 2 where the bubble is just blending right in with Fibrin's shirt. To me the lineless word bubbles always look unfinished on most peoples work and tend to blend with their flatter, lineless styles - it would be easier to read if they could pop a bit more. I do feel like you are getting much better at pacing out your dialogue though, there isn't a ton of panels in this where I would say you are writing paragraphs anymore. You are pacing it out with more panels and breaking things up to feel more interesting to the reader.
I do think the transformation page could have been condensed down to three panels spread on one page. I get the cinematic effect but I feel it didn't really add much to the comic other than I think it was done as padding under time constraints (I had to do this with mine too haha).

Pyras.
First the bad, maybe it just me but that texture looks great on the backgrounds but bothers me a bit on the characters
that's it. I love the way that lecture hall looks. the colors you choose play very well trough out the story. So many things I enjoyed in this battle. Sooo many awesome angles and compositions cool effects, Kaijus, weird aliens and a nude lol.
Plus the animated feel to this is great, I like the part where she's all red and steam if rushing out of her that's such a great visual and her transformation that need to be animated!
Excellent job.

Pyras: Wow there is a LOT going on here! If my other HEavyweight crits are any indication, I critique more in the lines of story, so that's what I'm gonna comment on.
The idea that Park and Fibrin organized a setup was really interesting, and the kaiju battle was as well, but the bit with the Narlath is way too much. That there are conniving Lovecraftian monsters after Kim is already established by the monster in the setup being after her to begin with. It's just, in terms of narrative, it puts a lot on the reader's mind at once, which isn't always a bad thing, but you could have afforded to introduce Narlath in Round 2. Aside from that, GIANT MONSTER BATTLES FUCK YEAH

Pyrras: as always i luuuv your colors. this comic is really dynamic, and i noticed some errors of anatomy that were there in your previous comic and that you corrected ( neck, shoulders etc...)
the transformation remind me a bit of some sequences from the one punch man manga
also, Gigara's suit break each time she transform? .... FANSERVICE !! haha seriously, poor kim gonna have embarassement management

GEEP: Hope things are going ok dude!
PYRAS: First of all shout out to the nice layout on the second page, the thought process is really cool and I'm a fan of breakouts like this that include character closeups etc, it sets a nice tone for the information coming up and breaks up what might be an overload of exposition. I think my only issue with it was that I lost track of how to read the last four boxes on the page because of the way your third box leads to the DNA strand that runs down the right most boxes - it's easy to miss the two in the lower left at first and then I'm not sure if I should be going left-right-left-right or left-left-right-right. As Shen noted, there's some blank spaces eg. Fibrin's desk that feel a bit boxy and unfinished. Adding elements like just some paperwork on there would help. I really love the text design over the monsters and this comic has such a B-Movie feel that really works with your textures I feel (I would definitely push it with some other effects if you could). I'm a bit hesitant on the black outlines that feel a bit confusing with the high colour panels sometimes but then it quite works with Kim's transformation phase. Loved this comic a lot, excited to see what will happen with Kim next.

GPS: Aww, a shame. Better luck next time! I actually had an idea for Dr Fibrin if he and Swan got matched up, but no matter.
Pyras: Interesting story going on there, one I'm keen to see unravel more and more. And I have noticed the lineless colour art style you were using for a while. Every time it is employed in your comics, I just like looking at it over and seeing how it was done. And that gradient shading/lighting embodying the flats help give it a boost. Great stuff overall! So far, I think you and Mags have the best looking comics of this round.

I fucking love everything about this. Except Geeps defaulting. That made me cry. I need to battle both of these characters.

pyras- i know youre disappointed you got busy and couldnt do highlights and shadows like you wanted to but man, this still came out great! Its got some nice action and some comedy bits, I love when she misses her queue, and when she makes a second hole in the wall lol. You draw some excellent expressions on Fibrin too, I think for trying a start-over on Park this works well! It shows off her characters and abilities well. The texture might be a little too much, it feels sorta like you wanted something to mask the fact that you couldnt shade like you wanted so theres some big flat spaces- and it DOES mask that but it does so in a kind of obvious way.... i would maybe suggest a different texture. ALso I had a question, was "The Sun Child" meant to be a reference to Wizzie's "Star Child" or was that a coincidence? cuz thats sort of what i thought of first haha. In any case, great angles, nice action, giant monsters are always cool, great job!

and on my side, I had a whollle bunch of 12 hour shifts for these past 2 weeks including weekend jobs, lots of fast-turn-around projects kept piling, and my comic thus won't be at its most polished~

Unfortunately, I didn't end up having a lot of time to work on this. The first week was my last week of classes, with a lot of stuff, and I knew about that, but unfortunately I didn't forsee family happening during the second week.
