Well now that it's been revealed my comics are Satan, lemme reply t all the great comments I got on this battle! 8D
RADJI- I'm glad Mimi's hijinks can reflect real life. I tried to subtly infer she works in the hospitals gift shop and cheers up the patients Patch Adams style, but maybe I was too vague.
LEFRED- So glad to hear it! I saw Atomicbritt rock the hourlies a year or so back featuring a day in the life of Andy and I fell in love with it. Definitely been looking forward to try my hand at it.
SHEN- I'm a little surprised the story went over so well- I always find my storytelling to be my weakest point, but everyone seems to like it? Thanks so much! It was lotsa fun cramming a buncha voiders in there for Mimi to interact with. What better place to meet the denizens of the city than the revolving door of the hospital?
JACKSTER- Haha, Rampant Rabbits gag is definitely my favorite bit too!
SOOTBALL- There there. We're gonna get through this.
FLUTTERBYES- i'm glad i found a way to mix it up. Since most of my day now consists of just sitting at a desk making comics, there's only so many ways to make that interesting or varied panel to panel. Glad I had Mimi's misery to get me outta the bind
COATL- Super appreciate your feedback. I know coloring- even monochromatic coloring isn't my strongest point. I tend to overshadow in the worry I'm not giving enough contrast. I'll definitely see about dialing it back. That rm lightning idea is something I wish I'd thought of! Ugh, it'd probably would've gone over great in some panels.
The suggestion of more tells that this was a dream was definitely something I had in mind, but I was worried I'd be too heavy handed. Still though, if it wasn't clear, heavy handed is the way to go. Though you are rife with great suggestions. I like the Mr. Creamy eyes in the lightbulbs idea.
HOBBITASTIC- Haha, raging Dr. Fibirin was one of my favorite panels. XD While it pains me to bum folks out, I'm admittedly super pleased this is tugging on some heartstrings. Yesssss, you will care about a cartoon character!
G.LO- I am so SO glad the transition from comedy to tragedy doesn't feel forced. I relly wanted it to sink into the danky depths the further you read into the comic, not to mention begin and end the comic with some dark panels, color wise. Though, I'll definitely try to stay my hand and make it not SO dark, hehe!
UNDERWOOD- ;3; Ugggh, thank you underwood. <3 I'll definitely keep trying to go bigger and better than my last!
Thanks so much for all your comments guys. Good or bad it shows I'm not just tossing my comics into the void (badum tish!), and y'all are enjoying them. Cheers!

Kozi, you are one of the best storytellers I've seen on comic tourneys. Coupled with a very solid art style and a wonderful eye for the minute details, you stand amongst the rest of us as a powerful force to be reckoned.
Bravo.

Okay first off I love that you made your 24 hour comic about Mimi cuz she's a babe.
AND THEN LETS TALK ABOUT HOW YOU JUST BROKE EVERY VOIDER'S HEART LIKE DAMN.
I agree with Shen, the lightheartedness and humor are not only fantastic, but then you get to creeperville in a second, flawlessly. That is sorcery right there. I just love how over-the-top Mimi is with everything, and for her current situation it feels like an escape. And then she remembers something she cherishes, and the moment her mind is grounded it's just ripped from her. That was just gorgeous.
I think really the only crit I can offer is the same as Coatl's - it's just a hair too dark, color wise.
KOZI YOU ARE AMAZING.

You're a champion!! I really loved this comic; this is such a cute way to learn more about characters. All the cameos were great (esp Dr. Fibrin's face). A huge slice of pizza with rad shades is 100% legit. It's great that you can have this cute/funny character and can really do something creepy without it feeling jarring or out-of-place. I feel so bad for Mimi and hope we get to see how her Mr. Creamy state plays out in the future. It's so sad that she's just floating up there in this horrible way dreaming out her "perfect day" which is really just a day of her old life. MY HEART STRINGS, KOZI!

What can I say, I've always been a fan of your work, in fact I can't give you a real negative crit on this because I understand what you were going for but I guess I can give you advice on where you could have pushed it so that you have something to think about the next time you attempt a comic such as this.
In terms of color and lighting, certain things that you're trying to focus can get a little hard to see unless you have a bright monitor so I suggest figuring out how to lighten or darken areas that surround the characters that you're trying to focus on or at least coloring your focus character lighter to make em pop. Hell even try rim lighting or haloe effects on objects such as the clock yelling "Wake up to mimi"
Seeing how it ends, I wish there were a few more clues to this being a dream such as maybe adding eyes to the lightbulbs of the first panel that look similar to mr. creamy's eyes or certain text in the bg.
I mean obviously I understand that this started out as a 24 hour comic turned two pager but I feel like if you want to play with the idea that this is all a dream regarding mimi's previous life, subtle clues to it being a dream may give people an incentive to reread it and see if they caught some easter eggs of sorts.
finally, I'd like to say that the cameos were really cute and funny and I enjoy that we get to see what's in the mind of the now possess mimi and I hope you get a chance to explore it further soon!

Hey, that's one way to make 24 hour comics a little more interesting! Make them about Mimi!
Oh... that got dark.

Fantastic stuff. A fun twist on the hourlies, a lot of great light hearted humour, a creepy twist that contrasts with both the format and content, I love it. Good job yo.

I participated in hourly comics day on Feb 1st and thought it'd be fun to do them from the perspective of Mimi the Mime. It was originally just done as an experiment, but the whole thing ran away from me and epic comic happened. Happy scrolling!
