The Godkiller has come

HIEMIE- I'm so thrilled you're moving ahead, if only for the fact that this mystery of Bernard grows darker and more intriguing. Its really what you don't show us is what gives me chills. What did that Cereal killer do to him? what aren't we seeing that has Kamden so terrified? You do a really good job of letting the reader themselves think of all manner of grisly things that we end up scaring ourselves.

HIEMIE: I couldn't allow myself to comment until I finished the wordfind, I was half expecting it to be impossible to finish properly, but I guess Delicious Breakfast truly is as merciful and benevolent as he is horrific. The bizzare, half told story is a little confusing, but I'm enjoying sort of the half story-told approach you're taking. Overall, this is a lot stronger than your round one entry - the shots are nicer, the activity page is a nice interesting departure and the end page with the cereal just begs for a crazy horror-movie violin riff. The dialogue in the fifth panel on the final page is a bit difficult to read over the darker watercolour wash, just a nitpick to be aware of. Can't wait to see your round three though.

SODA: I know you really tried hard this round so it's a pity you couldn't manage, but I'm sure you're gonna get more comics done and this has been a great start for you

Not only am I completely loving Delicious Breakfast's games of death, but I couldn't help marveling at your technical skills in Bernard's illustration on page 2.  The linework, the pose, the personality.  Your art is fast catching up to your writing, Hiemie.

I am enjoying where you're taking this strange character. I'm not sure what the activity page is about, like within the narrative why did Kamden want this, or is it just something that's done as part of the mercy he's being shown... but it's an interesting way of giving us some amount of information about DB nonetheless.

Hiemie- Boy that's a spooky buffalo. One thing that can counted on, you know how to make your comics forboding without even using a classically scary looking character. The cereal box back layout you used for page 2 just killed me too (though not as badly as it killed Kamden). I'm curious about where this will go and if the detectives will be showing up again later on.

AndMaybeASoda- Bummer you didn't get to put anything in but life happens. I really like Kamden, so I hope if you had any concept doodles or anything for this battle you might post them up in the forums!

I waited till the last minute to be sure but it looks like I'll have to tag out this round. I work for a trade association and this week is our convention so that's eaten up all my time and concentration. Hiemie, best of luck to you in upcoming rounds! Your character is super fun to write and draw, so I'm happy I at least got to play around with him in my planning stages
