Evi: I am so freakin' on board with this character! I was invested by the first half of the first page, great job! I'm not a fan of the primary yellow for the windows and exterior though, I feel like they're a bit off from the rest of the colors even if still technically warm.
Qyzex: that anime love was funny! But the end was pretty abrupt and unceremonious, it was kind of a buzzkill
Great job you guys

EVI- I love the dynamic of this duo. A straight man and her animu insane imaginary figment. OR IS IT? I see the potential for many a hilarious comic with these hooligans and am definitely looking forward to more.
QYZEX- The animations! I wish I had an extra page to do a title page, but I hadn't thought to superimpose it over page 1. Clever idea! I gotta say, considering the desu levels of your opponent, the little extra animated touches were really great. I loved where this was going, but by the time I reached the end, the way things wrapped up felt like a pratfall by storytelling standards. I loved the ridiculousness of what happened to AZUKI. but Stephanie felt like a "oh man, how do I get rid of her quick in order to adhere to the death tourney rules?"

Evi, my dear, your comic had me laughing to kingdom come. I would say that is one of the most adroit social commentaries I have the pleasure to gorge on the site. It was perfect - and that is saying a lot.
Qyz, while the first page could have been used for a more suble gag delivery opening the pages that come afterwards really sold it. The references you included made me guffaw that I nearly broke down.
You two are the bees knees. Jolly good work.

EVI - your comic is hilarious and I love how dark the premise actually can be. I didn't really imagine it to be that way when you posted the design sheet but I am glad - also the fucking COMIC SANS just slayed me. Also way to cram a lot into the panels. Very nice!! I do think your opponent kinda feels tacked on, but the rest of your comic carries itself well enough I can't really fault it.
QYZEX - I like the Vash The Stampede Deviantart boyfriend. He is great, also the panel where Azuki just straight up goes "sugoi" it's brilliant. I think the strongest points of the comic where when you focused on those two characters but it didn't leave you much room for the death. However as with Evi's comic I believe the rest of it carries well enough that that doesn't really matter.
Both comics were really funny guys and I like both a lot for different things so good jorb.

Light Speed Critique: Evi, the panels were really close to the line between intentionally off, and didn't get close enough. Though it worked really well on page 2 all jumbled up. Qyzex, The animated cover page seemed like a cheat to get a cover page, when you could have just had a title card on the top of the page. The text bubbles rode tangent to their panels often too, just need a small push in or out of frame.

Well, this is just good stuff. Qyzex, nice way to cheat a cover in there, though I felt the comic was totally fine even without that first page.

I need to inform people, just in case they're quick to move to the next page... the first page animates and fades into a comic page. Just be patient, it's only 3 seconds

Uploaded!
I wasn't able to spend as much time with Sludge Bucket as I wanted because of the page and time constraints, had to cut down on the panels aaaaaaah. it's not perfect BUT ITS FINISHED.

"say that again yuo pes of shet" ahahahahaah oh my god this comic totally killed me. Your characters wonderful expression, and just the sheer amount of amazing gags in this. I was talking to someone else about the comic and we could not stop gushing about all these wonderful jokes. The text coming out of the speech bubbles, the horrifying pink font, tAKE MY HAND! I never want to stop reading Azuki comics.
Besides how much I love it in like everyway ever, I do think you need to polish it up a little more. It feels a tiny bit rushed in spots, like the setting gets a little weak in the 3rd page. Polishing the rest of the comic will totally help sell how ridiculous and out of place Azumi looks too.
Qyzex -
I really like the soft red brown you use for your shadows, and in general your colour choices are really nice. Also, I'm always a sucker for small textural lines to break up digital stuff, and it looks really good here. It was a really nice touch that you didn't clean up the flood fiil artifacts on the anime characters.
Storywise is feels a little off. I think the idea of setting Azuki up with Tai is funny and fitting, but just pulling him out of nowhere like that feels cheap because it feels like it has very little to do with Sludge Bucket. You totally could've made Tai like Sludge Bucket's Azumi; some ridiculous anime he made as a greasy pig teen years ago.
