Charlie: bummer. If you ever finish this up in a BB or something, I'd love to see it though.

Jiisuri: I can see you used more black now. I guess next step is controlling how tight and loose your hatching is. The thicker or more compact the lines are when you're shading, the darker the shade is. The more far-apart and thinner the lines, the lighter the shading is. Hard to control, but if you ever have the need to shade something darker by hatching and you already shaded that part, just do another layer over it, in another direction.

Dude, there's just enough completed art to make me ache for what could've been. Your art is so great dude, and I know when you start getting your comics out to the masses, you're totally gonna be one of those superstars we all take great pride in claiming as one of our own.

Oh my god dude, this is such a  huge improvement here over your last fight! You really pulled out all the stops to fight Charlie. Watching your stuff slowly get more professional is amazing and inspiring.

I think the hatch toning is a good idea to make your comics a more readable, but it's a little uniform. Remember that you're trying to suggested sort of different tones of grey, so you need to add more variance to the kinds of hatching you use. Otherwise it's like you're covering everything in like the same shade of grey. Try using different sized pens for a different feel to sections of hatching, and vary the spacing of the hatched lines between different elements. If you squint, you can get an idea of what the general tone of a hatched section is.

This is your first SDT and you're just killing it dude, you're heading into the semi-finals!

Charlie, old bean... 'tis a shame you could not polish this round as menacingly beautiful as your usual standards - still valiant effort. A little hard to read at first but still a good read. You are such a smashingly talented artist and I hope I find a good mind exploding creation from your delightful little artistic hands gracing the pages of void, done magnificently from start to finish. Chip chip!

Jiisuri, your works reminds of me a manga I still have to recall properly from the back of my rather antiquated Brain version 1.0 alpha. I would love to see your work properly inked and cleaned as you show considerable promise with your stories. I love how Colossal Princess is a walking personification of chaos and destruction. Wonderfully consistent and beautiful through this whole tournament.

Bonny luck to you two darlings.

Charlie: It's too bad you couldn't finish. But - the line art that you do have is amazing. I love the way you use your blacks!

Jiisuri: An arm for an arm, huh? Hehe. I had a bit of trouble gathering Ailie had taken Colossal Princess's arm, but aside from that, I'm digging your inks! The intro story at the beginning was pretty sweet, but the text was a bit difficult to read for me. I really like Colossal Princess's blank expression and how she really does look like she only acts on rage. Great stuff!

Charlie: man that was gonna be awesome had you had time to clean up! I love the layouts and the mech design you have fleshed out! We can always just take this and use it as roughs for some boards lol. Totally great start! Damn time constraints :)

Jiisuri: Man the biting off the arm lol awesome! I love the blank expression and the pure indifference to the action. And I totally enjoyed the completing your rivals goal as being the reason a fight even breaks out. Great job very entertaining :)

looks like this princess has taken a detour from Shadow of the Colossus land into Attack on Titan-ville~

This pleases me. I was actually pondering ideas for some opponents and was hoping I'd get a chance to do a certain thing and your character was one of the ones I thought of.

Expect homages...if I can keep on schedule.
