jisuri, I agree with the others that your backgrounds are a bit too plain, I know it was a bit of a rush with a one week comic but even a vague outline of a cityscape or furniture or something, like even a sorta rushed background is better than none cuz it puts the characters in a place. also your characters aren't... PARTICULARLY expressive, I would maybe think about doing an expression sheet to show a bunch of different faces cuz right now everybody just makes the one. But I will say I liked that first page of Lex in sunglasses lounging on a beach chair, and the end when he opens his eyes and scares Clyde! Pretty good scar too!
Kura, I understand ^^; sucks you couldn't do more but it is what it is. I do like your little fighting game character selector screen, haha!

Thanks for the tips dudes. Backgrounds would have been less meh if I weren't occupied near the end, was going to put in textures and gradients and stuff if I could.

The font thing was something I threw in to see if it would work. Will probably go with 1 font from now on.

You should start using references for all your settings, because they're usually pretty plain. References can make you aware of the subtleties and details of a place that you might normally overlook if you're just drawing from your head.

Your line quality still needs work. Practice moving your pen quickly across your pencil lines when you ink, it'll make the linework less wobbly.

You don't need a different font for every person. A characters voice is established by what you write, not what the letters look like. It draws way too much attention to the font itself, and distracts from the art and what's actually being said. Choose one good, clean font and stick with that.

Good job turning stuff in and keeping active dude! I hope you keep up with this constant stream of activity, because you'll be a powerhouse in no time if you keep busy like this!

Sucks this fell through dude. I hope you're feeling okay for your other fight, because I'm really looking forward to it.

jiisuri, you've got 4 different locations and they all look so similar due to the bleak backgrounds.  The beach, the index, the alleyway, and clydes room all could use a bit more detail.  Islands in the far off in the background and palm trees in the foreground for the beach. the dark gradient atmosphere with even more floating panels for the index, as well as actual platforms to Aville, and Clyde to stand on. miscellaneous alleyway things such as air conditioners, windows, bricks, dumpsters., etc.

Kura: Sorry to hear about that Kura! What you do have there looks really nice though.

Jiisuri: I am gonna be honest I had a little trouble following what was going on in the comic. I think most of that falls down to the writing, as I think maybe I missed something. Where is 'here' that is being referred to all the time? The panels I think could be better as well as I felt there was a ton of space between them. So the gutters could have been smaller. Inking got a little scratchy at times and there were very little backgrounds, but from the sounds of it you were a little busy? Either way keep at it :).
