Bobo: Kozi--Ancelin is supposed to be drunk in this comic. I totally botched it by leaving out "The Rat's Arse," which was established in Scrumpy's intro comic to be a bar. Ugh. Anyways, I'm glad you enjoyed the parts of it I got right! hahah.

You should have put bubbles over hear head, or have a blush on her face - that could indicate her being drunk

BOBO- Maaan, when I saw Ancelin's opponent, I was hoping the scar would be something with the horn! Clean lines and nice pages, but they did feel too 'clean' and sparse. Kind of like the set for a city in a movie than an actual city.I also had to go to Ancelin's bio to doublecheck what she's all about after reading your battle. In all honesty I thought she was mentally handicapped instead of having A.D.D. Her dialogue and behavior really came off like I was watching an adult pretend to be a toddler which was uncomfortable to read considering there was an actual child in the comic and she was much more capable.
WOLCIK- Definitely didn't expect the style change after the cover page-pleasantly surprised! I especially like that you tied it back to the cover page by lining the last page. Not sure if all that was intentional, but I liked it! I do wish Rhino was more apparent in the first panels establishing shot tho. I missed him on my first read through and was wondering why there were strippers and then suddenly a rhino in an office. I did dig the scar Ancelin got for her eagerness to fight- gnarly!

Bobo - it's nice to see that you were able to post your thing. I really like that you guessed that the best scar for a rhino is to have his horn damaged/removed.
Animeshen - When I finally got around to doing this battle, I did the scaring page first and then went backwards, but run out of time before I put any reasonable lines, not to mention go further with the story - but it would be just rhino taking care of hurt ancelin anyway.
Kent - I knew I wouldn't be able to do any real ink, so I decided to focus on colors, and in the process I got a bit of new experience from doing those backgrounds.

Kent: I'm glad you enjoyed the fight! I was really happy with how that turned out, even though a lot of the other stuff fell through. I'll make sure to keep up the elements that made that part of the comic work in the future.

Bobo - The first page was really nice, the end of the second page things started to go a bit off, line-wise and proportionally. The fight scene was well choreographed! I have to applaud you for making it an interesting fight, even if some of the figures themselves were off. A broken horn is a cool scar. What your comic has is that it was more engaging character-wise--the personality leaps off the page, and every single character you used has their own unique voice. That's difficult to accomplish for such a short comic that's mostly action, so great job!
Wolcik - I like that, contrary to the cover page, Rhino and Ancelin weren't really against each other, and she got scarred anyway in the noble line of duty. Acid burns is a cool scar. Though it wasn't your neatest comic, it was the more visually interesting of the two, and you actually achieved some interesting effects with the color you used, especially with regards to shading on Ancelin at the end and how badass Rhino looked the whole time. Great job

Animeshen--Yes, she's drunk. In my rush and confusion, I failed to appropriately label "The Rats Arse" in the first panel. D:
EDIT: Also, Wolcik, thanks for the battle! We'll see if I have to rush a new character sheet before the TTT starts! So far it's not looking too good for me. I'm glad that you managed to get some backgrounds in there where mine were super bare. Even though they were kinda rushed, the color added a lot of feeling to it where my black and white missed out. I'm definitely going to have to rely on color some more until I can get inking down better hahah. My favorite part was page 5, where Ancelin does that cool flip to avoid being crushed by Dr Rhino falling in the hole. That made me chuckle. I agree with shen that it ended kind of abruptly. I would have liked to see the story completed. But it was a fun little story and a fun battle for both of us!

Bobo- was Ancelin drunk? She seemed drunk but it was never really established in context... was it a bar she got thrown out of the window of? I mean it was funny it was just confusing! Bit bare on the backgrounds, but humourous and with good expressions and gestures!
Wolcik- I like the line style you were playing with here! Great action, fun colours- ends kind of abruptly though, I think one more page would have really completed this. Anecelin's face on the last page looks a bit mannish but the anguish is very clear so I won't nitpick. I liked it though! Yay monster punching!
Good job guys!

I just feel terrible because I totally would have submitted this on time if I knew it was due yesterday instead of today, even if it was unfinished. If I do lose this battle, I'll at least submit my half as a beyond battle (even though I really really want Dr Rhino to have this awesome scar...)

And as a heads up, the site does not allow people to upload after a comic has been put up once. So neither party will be able to upload and will have to go through Toast. I sent Toast an email about what happened, and he should be able to check the records and see what the due date was listed as on the website. While I don't think I would have messed up, the fact the website did not send me a notification that a comic was due to go up makes me second guess it and I don't want to screw someone over.

Bobo, I will have Toast take a look. I thought I saw it listed as past due but I notice I got no notifications on it being due from the site. So for now it's down.

No thumbnails because I'm at work all day until later this evening and figured you would rather this go up than me wait. And I just saw Bobo's comment, unfortunately there's no extensions on scar matches.

UPLOADED - what I did in past days - to be honest I got a block after scripting it and sketching the first page for quite a few times. I didn't use lines because of the lack of time, but I find it a neat experience overall.

Don't worry BenT, I will.
Also, I'll be using this comic as a bit of a hype for the Tag Team Tournament...
