All I can really say is that I thoroughly enjoyed both of these comics! Love the fast-paced, kinetic action on both sides.

Thanks for reading and the great advice, guys! My big weakness lie in telling a good story it seems. I will also try to find a visual style of Leo thats a little more neat and fluid. I thought rough and edgy would work, but not quite good enough.

Neeners: Addressing the issue with the lines between Mammon's text and the super scratchiness of the hatching; My tablet was dropped one too many times, and it now registers the pen even it its just hovering over the surface after i make a stroke. And since I hand wrote Mammon's text, it caused the problem to be a lot more apparent lol.

Augh, nice battles, both of you! Magi, your colors really added a lot to your work, and the emotional hook at the end was really touching. TKD, your inks and panel layouts are super dynamic, they've got a great flow to them.

wow guys, great on both sides! this is gonna be real close score wise for me.

mags, you're gettin a lot better it looks like. your anatomy is approving, so keep up on that! there's issues like where the arms connect to the torso, an example being leo in the first panel on page 10. and probably too many plain gradient bgs. but I mean, overall it's good, and I found it entertaining!

tkd, this is so fun to look at! and to read. the inks are super good, and I found it pretty funny. I like that mammon's text is scratchy, but sometimes it seems like TOO much, you know? like, it becomes a little difficult to read, or the little lines between the words are distracting. in some panels the hatching looks kinda bad too, like the dolphin panel. I think it's just because it doesn't look as neat and tidily done as the other ones. overall though, this is kickin and I love it.

WOW.

I just have to start by saying that TKD's first page sounds pretty dang sexual. Just sayin'.

Okay, now for serious crits:

TKD: I like your style for this comic better than previous ones. It looks like you took people's advice to cut down on some of the sketchier black shading that made everything look kind of dirty. I really love how you drew muscles; the details were just perfect. Such sexy boxer men you got there. On the other hand, be careful with your panel layouts and speech bubble placements. I got lost a few times throughout the comic because things were in an order I wasn't expecting. I enjoy the whole meta-comic thing you've got going on, where entervoid is an actual thing in your comics. Personally, I think it's a little limiting as far as character development goes, but I'm sure you have a plan for it and I'm excited to see where it goes. (I think Nyle should battle him, since neither of them live in Void City hahah.) All in all, I was thoroughly entertained, and hope to see more from you.

Mags. MAGS. You're killing me, you know that? You get so much better with each comic. Right off the bat, I have to say that even though there were several pages where the backgrounds were just brown gradients, the backgrounds and characters you did have were just so full of life it's ridiculous! You've got a gift, sis, and I'm loving your work. The end of your comic was cruel; you'd better get another comic in soon before I explode from the suspense! Honestly, I don't have anything bad to say about your comic. It felt super clean, polished, and well-written. I felt like I was watching a professional cartoon or something like that. Your shading is improving, too. Just keep drawing, kid! I'm rooting for ya!

MAGZ- As always, great stuff coming from you. Your colors are always so sharp and the way you do your shadows is a thing of envy. I especially love the care and detail you afforded to the 'extras' in the audience as well as the ringmaster/announcer. Like, who things of an alien with an eyestalk and killer eyelashes? YOU DO MA'AM. This battle definitely weaves seamlessly into the continuous tale you've got going in all your previous battles so I can't wait to see who you match up with next to reveal more!

TKDZEN- A nice no nonsense beat 'em up battle. your hard inks and brushy strokes really complimented the grittiness of the tussle and even enhanced Mammons crazy when he hulked out. I too got a god laugh from the dolphin gag- especially the dotted outline of 'no leo'. XD I didn't quite get a feel for your character though as it felt Mammon was featured more and Leo was a supporting character.

Okay I fucking love this whole battle. WOW. WOOOW. Well done you guys, amazing page turnout and quality. I have barely anything bad to say about either of these.

Mags: Your work is so crisp and finished and your action poses were really dynamic. Those 'fros as well, wow. I love your colouring and you manage to strike a nice balance between battling your opponents character but developing your own as well. The only thing I would say is sometimes your backgrounds are a little sparse,  it leaves some of your panels looking a bit bare. But overall I loved this.

TKDZen: I don't think this needed colour, the inks alone are amazing. Sometimes they get a bit muddled but otherwise, I love your line variation and how much energy and movement you got in there. Also the "tasty dolphin" made me laugh so hard. brilliant.

Well done both of you! Now I'm going to go and read each of these like a million more times.

Mags, you've got a great entry! Mine pales in comparison :) I wish I worked a little better so that I could've colored it, but its whatevs. I really like the tone you set with both your lighting and dialogue :) Good luck in the voting!

Looks like everyone got everything uploaded okay. Unfortunately I couldn't get thumbnails in because it's taking 10 years for pages to load for me.
