Oh man that was good read!! I think the B/W was balanced well though the contrast between the foreground and the background could be stressed a bit more somehow, aside from the first 3 pages (too much white background for my tastes).
The pacing and the interesting shots you chose (I like the middle one in page 7) really helped keep the fight interesting because I had a good sense of the environment and where everyone was relative to each other. I was a little confused about Jane progressing through the temple in the beginning, but I got the important gist of it.

I like how you're using blocks of black shape in the characters -- I think pulling more of that into defining background shapes, especially in the background characters, would help to give a darker mood to some of the panels. Swapping silhouettes for pale backgrounds and vice versa can help to focus on characters and take some of the weight off of details surrounding them, too.

That would be the one thing I would suggest, is to try to make actions a little bit clearer. The best possible version of a comic should be the unlettered uncolored inks, so you can tell what's going on even without reading the story.
Also, I like your use of blacks. One thing you might want to experiment with is using some hatching to feather the edges of them. It can add a whole other feel to your work.

Yeah, maybe I should've made it clearer, but Jane lost a couple of fingers on the last page there.

TDK, I think you're really coming along nicely!
You're really getting to use these blacks to your advantage and your poses are mostly pretty strong and dynamic- though some are rather ackward still- . I loved the little bit from Elle's perspective.
The basic idea of the thing is easy to get, but I'd have liked to have some more details on that; Who's that ominous dude at the beggining, what's the book about, why's Elle trying to get to it, that sort of little thing.
Didn't catch where Jane got a scar either! Disapointment: I love scars!
Anyway, good job and keep at it, man.

Also, thanks for all the feedback. I've been trying to push myself to be more free with using more blacks lately, so the pointers are greatly appreciated.
