Tin:
Dang this was an impressive piece of work!
You've dropped using that awful fill from the last piece, and it looks much better for it. Occasionally I feel you fill the speech bubbles a bit too much, they feel crowded.

You used lots of characters but we're left wanting more.
I think Roy is a bit small in that Murphy's Law entrance shot, perspective wise.

Overall, best thing I've seen you done!
Good luck in the finals!

Bl00:
This was fun and short. Seeing your previous output I was rather sad to see that such a short comic wasn't more complete.
Nothing else really to say, hope to see you battling again soon. You do good work!

Woah, I'm surprised its such a small difference between you two!
I guess it must be down to the fact that you've produced such brilliant work before bl00chikin, I gave you a high score for entertainment. :D

TINMAN, you have come on a lot! This was staggeringly amazing and makes me feel like a worthless piece of comic making shit! Thats a good thing! :D You really should try to keep up this output after the Tournament because it is working wonders for you and I can see you becoming great at this rate. Like really great.
Same goes for you of course Bl00chikin, make your next comic awesome just to do yourself justice. :)

bl00: Your art is still great, your writing is perfect, but it feels like a small letdown when we know what you are capable of..(yeah, I know these 1 week rounds can be killer) Still I enjoyed it, and if you hadn't set yourself up by delivering such awesomeness in the previous rounds, you'd probably get higher marks this time around ;)

Tin: Ah, what more words can we use to describe your awesomeness.. feels like I've used them all up already. If I had to nitpick at anything at all, it would be that some frames can be "too much of the good stuff", and it makes it a bit hard to see what's what.. but yeah,  I'm nitpicking.. ;)

Both are very funny, and a hoot to read! A little bummed your entry is rushed, Bloo, but such is life!

Good job!

TINMAN: Bl00chkin:  Your Red Light District pages have such character and life to them, as always. I attempted to cop your sense of expression this battle and Roy's face is perfect for those gawky poses. You captured the feel of a bygone seedy area and the awkward man love perfectly. A brief but impressive vignette on Roy's survival skills being put to use. I pray I hadn't taken too great of liberties with his origins or bio concerning the Wasp but I had hoped to see more of his Exterminator angle played up. Please do carry forth on his story and misadventures, you're top gun talent and well worthy of the crown barring poor timing and circumstances. Cheers on a bloody good round!

Thanks man! And your interpretation of the whole wasp deal was great! Though I'm not so sure Roy would abandon his dream of becoming a rockstar to be an entomological king ;p but nah it was a fantastic and interesting take! It's always great to see someone else's interpretation of your own character y'now :) I sure hope I depicted Joe alright, though I know I didn't leave much room for a whole lot of character reveal.
Nice battlin with ya mate!

I will say it wasn't easy. I busted my ass this week, and over the weekend I drew for literally 24 hours straight to get it done. I've never before faced an opponent of this caliber so I had to try some new tricks and strike on all fronts. I can usually do 10 pages a week with some difficulty but I knew I'd need to go bigger or go home. I've never done that much but I figured I had to bring my A- game and go for quality as well as match Bl00's quantity- let us hope it was worth the effort.

What a nice thing to say! Wow! I had a feeling going into this round against you that this would be it for Roy and I wanted to do so much more. I feel kinda bad cause you put so much more effort into yours for this than I did. Perhaps they shall tango some other time. And if that day comes I'll give you a better battle, promise.

Underwood: Next time I'm in Kamchatka or you're in ChiTown we'll get dem bottles poppin bruv! I'm just tryin to keep up with you. I always try and pay a bit of homage to my past opponents or my opponents conquests. Gotta show some love to the fallen.

Con: Glad the brushes and high contrast stuff is easier to follow, I realize my work can be a bit grey so punching up the contrast to 30/70 black vs white seems to clarify the images and solidify them. Being less wordy and simplifying my panel structure and layouts probably speeds the read along too. If I take anything away this round its that I need to decompress pages because they look too dense and compact for the web. I'm not used to web comics. Gotta get like you and Kinuchio two panels per page style.

Sloth: OTP is new to me. I guess I just wanted Clock and Friction to be recoiling in horror at Roy pissing himself, fearing his savage abilities as he had beaten Angus. They lean on him for manly reassurance, as he is the poppa bear of this little bunch. Let the slash fiction commence!

Animeshen: I will say it wasn't easy. I busted my ass this week, and over the weekend I drew for literally 24 hours straight to get it done. oh my gosh Tinman that was so incredibly epic, haha! I can't believe you did that in like a week! Amazing! You have such great attention to detail! Bl00, yours was of course hilarious as usual! shame you had no time this week and had to turn in something unfinished. And no worries about anybody wanting to fight you! I'll be here, in the back of the queue!

Tin, I have to say that this was absolutely awesome in every way. My eyes were getting lost on your work before, but you've defiantely managed to fix that with these solid inks and brush strokes added in, and the grey here and there to help the borders or frames along is really working. I gave it top marks and this is my favourite comic of yours to date.

Bloo, absolutely love the style. Big fan of the funny here too!Shame it wasn't a bit cleaner but week long rounds will eat all of our souls. I get IRL obligations. Keep up the good work.

Both of you guys are such darlings!!!!

Bl00, aw, it's okay, pukka effort from you lass. Priorities first I always say. Valiant effort dearie, given school and all. I want to see a real smasher of a comic from you. You did great kid.

Tin, lemme say, you cracked me up on the room scene. Never expected that. You had me roaring there. Bloody well done sir. I salute you! You are a master of your style and quite the veteran to watch out for.  Now if we can see your comics inked, i'd owe you a full course meal and a bottle of wine.

You guys rock!!!

TINMAN: Pffft, you cannot fool me Dearest Chikin- I just know your "loafin about" and "half-assin" will amount to a PIXAR quality short film that reduces our beloved audience to slavering addicts and me to a simpering slag heap for my efforts. I was going to dedicate this round to Underwood, but I think perhaps I'll toast to you.

Lol well, thanks! And are you kidding me? Your comics are amazing! The way you fit so much detail into every panel, Your angles, your character gestures! Gah!

School's really crankin' down on me, since it's the end of the quarter, so I don't know if I'll be able to go through with this round, but I'll try to submit something. TINMAN, My apologies in advance if I fail you.
