JAZ: Once again, I'm faced with this really interesting story and continuation of Wynn's plot. This was honestly the breakout star of the 2010 Speed Death Tournament for me, and I'm not disappointed here, despite Wynn being in only 3 pages, it gives a volume of development for us since that SDT. You've got a superb style going on for this fight. The colors and the children's book illustration style really enhance this story. I love your use of textures, it really makes your art pop out.
I'm sad you're not going to win this and move on, however I hope you continue this story whenever you do get a chance again to jump back on Void, but until then, good luck with your book, man.
Jackster: Hey, welcome back! It's been awhile since you were here last. I really enjoyed your little story here, I was originally wondering how well Nutty and Dolly were going to interact, but I think you pulled it off very well. You have some good pacing and really gorgeous blacks here. It's great to see you not overshoot yourself here either. Well done and safe, I liked it.
Your people have improved since last year, but I still think you've got some work to do on them. Particularly in the head regions. You get some wonky faces sometimes and more often then not you also don't give them enough headspace to work with, putting the eyes too high up on it.
However, it's fantastic you jumped in for this and I can't wait to see what you do next round.

Jaz your entry was very cool. Your color and the texture of your pages makes your art very striking. Though your story was interesting, I didnt get the same entertainment value that I did from Jacksters. I think you and I took similar approaches. We both made this round just a small part of a larger story arc. I tjink your style was a hard translation for Jacksters characters. Not that you have to imulate his style, but they didnt quite feel the same in your story.

Jackster, you continue to make me laugh. Reading your comics brings me back to what I loved watching Warner Bros as a kid. You always think out of the box in your stories. I loved the Batman comic you did a while back. I cant crit your art, your cartoon style is fun and loose and very consistant. It makes me want to draw some animated comics. I look foward to seeing your next round if your lead holds up!

Whoops! After looking through my pages, I've completely forgotten to add in Tekka's tail on page 3.

Really, really looking forward to this battle. JAZ you know you're one of my favorites and I've missed you terribly on here.
Jackster you're also super good, like pro quality good, and you always have clever battles.
This should be a battle of the storytellers... And that's pretty rare on Void. I'm excited!
