Yo Knomer, I like this one. The colors, art and overall style were sweet. The story however seemed a little jumpy. Not bad though, it seemed like when Res flips out no clear reason was given. Also was he seeing Dan as the monster? He dude still there is much to dig, Res is cool.

i really enjoyed this one.
pacing-wise, i would've liked a little more buildup before res goes berserk; it seemed sort of out of the blue during my first read-through.
i didn't mind the oversaturated colors so much, since it gave the comic that '90s sort of feel.

Knomer: rawk. That was what a REAL comic looks like. The art was flawless, the story made me care, and it was very easy to read. Hats off to you!

Sucks you couldn't get it in Dan, I wasn't able to put this up until I got home from work the following day so I was hoping you'd have gotten it in by the time I got home but it would have been unfair to put it off any longer.
knomer-this is what I like to see. In the past I always felt like you were rushing your comics and not doing what you were really capable of so it was nice to see you really give a comic your all. The coloring really worked well with your lineart but you perhaps could have toned down the colors in the background just a little so there weren't so many bright colors every where. The action scene was pretty well done, I liked the energy you had going on. I kind of wish there had been just a little more interaction between the two characters since I enjoyed what you'd had. Really the only thing I'd noticed was the sometimes over saturated colors, other than that this is the best I've seen you do on Void.

I liked your entry Knomer. I liked the story I thought it was pretty good. I feel the linework is a bit shaky in some places though it seems minor and just needs a bit tightening. I dunno about the colors though. I guess they're fine but I'm not sure what I want to say about them.

Yeah..... about that.... hopefully with a little more effort on my part I can start producing again.... more then once a year.... No more excuses. Either I draw or I don't... and I want to! Couldn't ask for a better comeback opponent!

angie: thanks for the comps, i get what you mean about the colors, i noticed around page 4 how "colorful" it was and toned it down a bit.
jet: thanks, yeah looking back at the colors im reminded of the sunday paper funnies.
ZZzero: Glad you like Res! I feel you on the pacing, i wrote a script and drew thumbs but i still just need more work at making it cohesive.
