Hey Mecid, this was an amazing piece. The story nailed down all the main concerns of your opponnent\'s story and the execution was succinct but not without its great moments. I found the humor and tone to be quite a ride reading this as  is NB\'s viewpoint of superheroism remains consistent as it did even in your Armageddon beyond battle.  I love your rendition of Kale and her father but my eyes were sorta squinting at the lack of dark spaces - overall the technical side posed little problem as I managed to ride through the story fine .

dig the background detail, & overall it was a pretty ok story too, mecid. nice work. no real complaints rather than if you were gonna ink it would have been nice to see it throughout. but i\'m not one to talk in matters of leaving things unfinished so i\'ll just shut up then.

Mecid, you did not dissapoint one bit. The quality of art wasn\'t at a high level but it\'s just as good as you usually do so no big deal there. What impressed me is what always impresses me about your work, the content of the story and the effortless humor you bring to the table. You make Nowhere Boy so helpless but in a funny and sympathetic way. I\'m always hopeful that he will do something truely heroic but never upset when he doesn\'t really do much lol. In fact, your story was so good it made me care about Gundream more than I ever did with Slade.

A well deserved win for you Mecid. Even if Slade hadn\'t had \'problems\' at the last minute (I think he just didn\'t finish) I don\'t see how he could beat the great work you did. Congrats.

I really liked how the story opened and closed with the same scene- I know its a dumb thing to notice right off the bat, but it gave a cinema feel to it that I enjoyed. Nowhere boy has become such a favorite since I found your comic archives and read through his story. Its always amusing to see him feebly try to make it out on top.
Your pencils are pretty sharp and clear to read throughout to me, and I liked that the quality didn\'t seem to waver. Rock on yo.

Slade, it seems like every battle this happens to you. You should never wait until the last day to scan stuff because technical stuff can and will happen. It\'s best to scan as you finish and backup your stuff in the event something happens.

Mecid, I found the story very entertaining  and your pencils were still very top notch. It may help to hold onto the pencilled versions of your pages in the event you\'re unable to finish the inks so you can keep consistency going. It may help to adjust the levels on some of the panels since they\'d randomly get super light. But other than that it was a pretty solid entry and I enjoyed it quite a bit.

Um, not to be rude Slade, but don\'t you always have a computer problem that happens at the last minute on these fights lately? How frequently are these problems gonna happen? Plan ahead, if you know you\'re gonna have problems towards the end, then finish the comic earlier so that any problems you have can be solved quickly and easily before it winds down to the last minute. No more last minute BS.




Mecid: Excellent fight, kinda don\'t like the sudden switch from inks to pencil, but it was clean enough for me to not really notice right away. Story was really nice as well, good character development, and a sock puppet gang gave me a nice chuckle. Very good fight overall.

i\'m having tech difficulties with ps... been trying to get it to work for the last two hours... i\'ll have it scanned in as fast as i can... i hope i don\'t have to go down to kinkos... money\'s tight, but i\'ll do what i have to do... T.T
