Both stories were pretty funny. I do have to give points to Phil for putting Loud in the background of his, and for the over the top randomness of the rock paper scissors fight. Reading the comic over again and getting subtle things like the cat and the fence in a kind of a stare off on the first page shows that you put a lot of thought into this. Gotta say I\'m impressed, and kinda nervous seeing as I face you soon.
Fence, I loved yours as well, but it was too short for my tastes. Well not really too short, it\'s just that as the situation escalted I feel like I got my hopes up. I\'d have loved to seen that bar brawl continue to completion, aside from that the humor and the art were on point.

Whoa, little less drama. It\'s an opinion. A post or two above mine made it sound like it was a split story battle.

Mrph... damn thing posted before I could finish. Anywho, silver, this wasn\'t a collab battle, this was just a regular battle man. Fence\'s story is her own, as is my story.

Fence got the less interesting half? WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?

Okay, in the light of the fact that it\'s a 50-50 story, I change my tune: Someone is always going to get the less interesting half of the story, and it happened to be Fence.

way to take advantage of the extension phil! it helped you more than it did me by the look of it, haha. it looks real nice, and I especially love the paper-rock-scissors sequence. ROCK! high five on what I feel is a deserved win on your part!

wow, I really liked both of these, guys. Impressive for such a short amount of time. Fence, I think you could have done a little more with your story, it felt like it ended without climaxing you know? I just felt like if it had a little something extra, it would be just fantastic. But your style always makes me smile, and the huge pussy thing was pretty funny. Phill, I think your art look great, you get my votes cause ... you had a talking cookie. That\'s just awesome. Both were fun little stories that I enjoyed, but Phill wins my votes by just a hair. :3

Fence: Cmon dude, you started something you didn\'t finish! What a tease. Started out fairly strong, was ready for some real action, and you shut the door before I got my foot in.
Phillip: I always love a battle where the subject is an innocent, every-day encounter. Cookie cart for the win.

Even if it weren\'t for the giant cookie saying \"fight for my love\", point to phil for, you know, actual backgrounds.
But then, it DID have a giant f\'n cookie enticing us to eat it. I\'d request seeing that character again, but that might be a problem...

FENCE- I totally burst out laughing over the \'huge pussy\' comment. XD
Hooray! Your comics are getting bigger! Despite the time crunch, your work has really improved from the last battle I saw from you. The paneling doesn\'t look too compacted and everything is nicely laid out. That I\'m amused at watching Finnegans character shine through amidst a gang brawl- no loyalties there, lol! I really enjoyed alot of the little details- the pinky finger held up as he drank beer, the smug gap toothed stance as his gang backs him up. Much luv to ya girlie and your rockin\'.
PHILL- BEAUTIFUL opening page. I told you over AIM, but I\'ll say it again. The lettering and style of your comic title came out great and lead on into the comics storyline rather well. Not to mention drawing a fence and a cat to introduce the artists in question. You did some cleeever stuff in this one <3\'s for Mimi cookie duel cameo in the background BTW.
Both comics were short and sweet, amusing and cute. Totally makes me want ot battle you both. High marks all around!

Artist
Quality: i\'m a big advocate on inks. you seem to scribble with your pen on the corners to avoid drawing any backgrounds, and its really just distracting. also, there were a lot of anatomy flaws, mostly on hands. i\'ve seen you do better.
Creativity: buying cookies from street vendors? stuff like that\'s been done to death. i felt like it was the same battle i\'ve seen here a million times. there was nothing that set it apart
Entertainment: The battle\'s flow seemed really jerky and ended really ubruptly. he buys a cooke.... then is dissapointed. it was so anti-climactic.
