Hiemie pretty much took it. 5 years ago i woulda said fel\'s art was better, but i pretty much consider it 2 different styles nowadays. Hiemie really won over with the entertainment, up until the last page, it was hilarious. And since both chose to go the be a good dad route, i really didn\'t have much else to judge on.

For anyone else reading this, it was Dae\'s fault that he didn\'t know about them lol, and my fault for not uploading that beyond battle.

Over all, i really like this story line. From both of you, and it is refreshing to see seriousness (the lightbulb thing had me cracking up in class)/less actual fighting at a minimum. Sometimes a battle doesnt even have to have one punch swung.. Aka the dumping the kids on Dae xD lol, that was unswung punchin\'!

hokay, on the crits side o_o once again, understanding what you\'re dealing with Fel *shrugs* I think it\'s pretty damned good for what you\'re handling. I was beginning to want to say maybe having done JUST flats would have done more for it, but I want to retract that statement to say that I think at least giving some sort of 3 Dimension with the grey\'s worked out great. There\'s some things I would have liked to point out about the shadows and how they cast on a few things, but ^_^ for what you have and all, it\'s fine imo. I can talk to you later about it if you\'d like.

Hiemie - very enjoyable. The first time i saw your style on void it kinda..made me wana be put off reading the battle, but you\'ve evolved it into an amazing personal coined phrase for yourself. Its like. That thing you do lol. But seeing it in a serious light, gave it a whole new level for me. Well done, and well done S.P. for stepping up to the Daddy plate (maybe a bit too much LOL! he\'ll be like me and lock my kid in a closet for safe keeping). Well done.

I knew id find something snooping around your sites.. Yo Fel, why didnt you tell us you had an illustration job? Congrats tough lets see how you can turn over this time management battle.
How good is your sketching?
Cause if its at a high level, you could pull of 10 pages of very nicely penciled storylines and still have time for your regular job. No need for photoshop to ruin your work due to lack of time. Experiment with that whenever you can.

Well, there\'s six pages versus three for starters...  The \'timing\'/paneling is good for Hiemie\'s, and not-so-much for Felony\'s... The story is far better on Hiemie\'s too.  On the last panel of page two in Felony\'s, P2\'s rant all in one bubble was kinda weird--I think there should have been a question mark in there too.  

Fel, by having it all in one bubble, and not using the proper punctuation, you left the \'voice\' in probably the most important part of the comic completely flat.

I know this photoshop trick with the lines--You know the one to make them look better by copying the layer, & blurring the heck out of it and flattening it again.  Makes things nice and smooth doesn\'t it?  You may have overdone the blur though... The \'halo\' effect it\'s giving is a bit off-putting.

Yea Felony I really like the way you draw and collor, but seeing your battles in general, this one not included, Imo you could do a little better on story telling. But I liked the results on this one, apart from the last pannel of all that seems a bit of.

Heimie, your storyline was awesome. Great work. Such improvement lately from you. =) we\'re all proud.

Felle- I know what\'s going on with your time and life, etc- So I\'m not going to knock you down on progression like the others are. I know you\'re trying. I think I see where you\'re going with the people you\'re fighting now. Rather hot.  

My votes are equal.

Hiemie had the better storyline but Felony had the better art quality. I gave the same score for creativity so overall you both came out pretty even with me.

You had similar ideas although they were performed very differently. Hiemie did a much better job, but then again his was twice as long too. =) Did you not work on your side very much Fel?

Interesting battle, guys.  I like the non-fighting storylines.  

BUT.  

Felony - Dude.  What.  Your skills are regressing.  Practice should be making it better, not worse.  Entertaining enough, but you usually do a lot better than this.  

Hiemie - It\'s really cool seeing you tackle non-comedy sometimes.  My only gripe is the ending wasn\'t much of an ending.
