If my page count is the only main criticism against my comic, then I\'m losing for the wrong reasons, and I think Mam would hate to win simply because he had more pages.

Mam, your comic was a pleasant read and it\'s obvious you put a lot of thought into the way the characters interacted: Ji Kei\'s taking on the traits of the Terrible Two, Harriet and Zickel combining to form a single, balanced entity, and then Mandrake and HC\'s dialogue towards the end. Your art was cleaner, and your layout was more cinematic, with more dramatic poses. However the story seemed too safe and cookie-cutter for me, and I\'m not just referring to the happy ending. But then that\'s not a bad thing, since I\'m coming from a mentality that wants to be grossed out, wants the characters to suffer and wants loose ends that don\'t wrap up nicely.

Pleasant but on the boring side, but it\'s a sentiment that only I have because you\'re beating my sorry ass, hahaha.

I dont know what to make of it.....Mamoru did a great job....even with the cameo appearance of Hot Chick and Mandrake....

BS:  WOW...the colors...even my boss sitting behind me at work was like \"What\'s with that girl\'s eyes?!\"  LOL  I love harriet...I really do...and I kinda feel the limbo she seems to be in...and you depict it well.....

I was thoroughly entertained.... good job both of ya.

Mamoru, heres my opinion: your line work was excellent, the consistency and action were smooth, and the page count is excellent for a week battle and I dont blame you for no color, but i wouldve given you more props if you did. The story was well written and wasnt all fanservice and such and such. I got confused around the end of page 4, but i was able to regain where i was soon after. I think you did well to capture harriet\'s SDT character, but not her recent, hell-induced SRT character. Overall, you did very well for a one week battle.

Slug: you are wierd. Your comic has to be the most creative i have seen that is officially in this tournament. Artwise, your style is unique, eye catching and captures the feel that i believe you are trying to throw at us. Storywise, its genius. Youre diving deep into the mind of someone who would be in hell, showing that she is suffering and becoming insane due to the only fact that she is in hell. Other than that, Im only slightly disappointed in your page count, but for a one week battle, i dont really expect more than 3.

in truth, i think i tied my votes between you two,  but i dont remember :/

Mamoru: I liked your story because it offered some closure for the characters, although I think it\'s a little sketchy doing this for somebody elses character.  But regardless, I thought this fight was actually better written and more entertaining than your last fight.  Sometimes your linework falls flat without the help of color though, the general lack of texture and the lifeless greys kind of killed a few a panels here and there.

BSLuGeth: Your comic was really great, but it was only a vignette rather than a complete story in and of itself.  For what it is, I thought it was good.  Good and weird.  The art was ok, the color was a nice touch - I think artwise this match belongs to you.

Oh, I forgot to say that I also liked how Mamoru linked the other matches on this, not only past ones as the ones ocurring. The Killer Queen uniform thing was very cool.

I liked both stories, but in different manners.. I think Mamoru\'s part was more well developed, in the meanings of being far more understandable. Plus, he also noticed something that everybody is already dead, so you can\'t really kill anyone..again (?). Harriet while confusing in the second page, the confusion is gone in the next, like a turning point, \"the great trick\". Innovative, to say the least.

Art-wise, I wish BSlugeth did more pages, but three was enough for her story. The colouring is lively and touching, and matches the sketchy aspect of the lines. In other hand it looks like a \"speed-everything\" style, though.
As for Mamoru, the city \"flyover\" panel looks a bit sketchy, in contradiction with the rest of the work, but it does fine. Some of the action \"blade-swooshes\" looks like made in one attempt only. A scene I didn\'t like at all was the eye-snatching one, I only noticed it when Ji said it herself.. until then she was just clising her eye, but could be because of either the scar itself, or just blood from a face cut and such.. But I enjoyed it throughly. Thumbs up for 9 pages in this quality as well!

I like how Mamoru incorporated the Hot Chick/Mandrake battle into the comic, and the drawing was wonderful. I can agree that there was some pretty weird feeling about the whole thing, but it was still good.

Slug, the page where Ji Kei is lying dead on the ground and Harriet is walking away with the eyes is pretty good too. The art was alright for me, not too magnificent, but with that you made up in creativity. In my opinion, while Mamoru deserves higher Quality, I think you deserve a higher Creativity.

I liked Harriet\'s better story-wise. Ji Kei\'s just seemed out of character somehow. The art, however was gorgeous.

Personally I\'d have to go with Sluggy\'s fight on this one.
