Foo, your art kicks ass, but your lacking in the story-telling department. It would be nice to have your character have a weakness. Weaknesses make characters interesting. No one loves a \'god-moder\'. Maybe you didn\'t intend it to be that way, but that\'s how it appeared. Made your story boring.

 Thats the quality I\'m aspiring for Foo! You have what I want my story archs artwork to be based from. Mayhaps I\'ll get an equal amount of creativity to work with soon,...either that or you\'ll get fifty percent of the profits of our spanken Comic releases! Me thirty, Pub-lushers 20%.

I was almost asleep in bed when I remembered I said I would comment here! Sorry! ^^; Typical me.

I think your cover is ever so cute, lookit us being all shyyyy.... <333. All the work put into page 1 is very obvious... every last detail is there, even down to the bg in the windows and tiles on the floor, wow. Heh... \"Gangsta Gear\" XD. The second page is a wonderful \"splash\"... is that what it\'s called when it\'s just one big picture? I\'m still surprised how well you drew this character, I\'ve been trying to draw him in my comic and I have a lot of learning to do when it comes to buff guys. The smoke and backlighting are great touches. The entire 3rd page blows me away, you\'re a master at fighting scenes. But Sushi\'s arm looks like a noodle in one of the panels! Hahaha. No worries, I\'m sure when I post my comic you\'re gonna be like, \"Uh... Beka... you drew my character a little WRONG there...\" XD. It\'s bound to happen.

*lol* Did you have Sushi call you \"that little guy\" \'cuz I\'m so much taller than you? XD XD XD That\'s hilarious... Sushi\'s nickname for Fooray should be \"Little Guy\". And I love her attempt at helping him. It reminds me of an attempt I made to help my friend Nick when he was getting beat up by a bully in Kindergarden. But then the bully turned on me. And Nick ran away. Big wuss.

Aaawe! You had Fooray catch Sushi. How sweet. <333 And there\'s that awesome power-effect that I love so much. And Sushi\'s kinda shy like me but she wouldn\'t mind taking advantage of a situation like that and being held for a little while, teeheehee. She can be much bolder than me when she wants to.

Oooh!! The white lineart of Fooray\'s flipping process is great, it\'s perfect for showing the audience what\'s going on without being too strenuous on the eyes. And I was shooting for something similar to your last panel (the low-budget sound effects) but I like your idea a lot more.

You did so awesome Foo-Baby!! Seeing your comic is a big inspiration for me. I know this talent of yours is rare and will be better known some day. <333

Foo that was quite some work of shear excellence. The humor and action made this quite a fight.
That first page is really well done with the accents in gray and whites. I like how you draw Sushi, reminds me of Dae. My favourite part is were the girl kicks mr titty ring on the shin.
I like the slash effect at the ending too.

well council member knows best i spose. . .but i was told when doing battle you didnt have to \"fight\" yur opponent, and ive seen it before in the battles that have already happend. and i dont believe they were judged anymore harshly than anyone else.

as for someone esle coloring it, i thought it was the drawings that mattered not the grey tones someone did over the lines i drew. . .seeing as how i drew them. but now i know better i suppose.

and i dunno. . had you read the comments before you, you might actually know why the story was what it was.

but thats just my 2 cents.

So like, he didnt even fight his opponent? hmm..... and the story was weak sauce at best. Also.... you had someone else color a page for you... thats no good. Its supposed to be you and you alone, dont do that again, or we may have to not put the battle up at all. In all honesty, the art is pretty good, almost too good at times for what this comic was. In the end, I think you could have gone maybe 2 pages less, had an actual fight, and an actual story. Thats just my 2 cents.

Foo- Art is AWSOME, but your story... It\'s SOoooo weak. You could\'ve implemented Sushi into it A LOT better- and at least give a reason for the whole fight.

well the art was good, and teh story telling was on point, i think you wrote your and sushi\'s chr welll. But the plot itself, didnt go as well as you started out, like yeah foo gets beat up in the begining, but why is he untouchable later? Also yeah would have been better if you could have finished the story you seemed to be trying to tell about foo and sushi, would have been cool to see how she learned something in this battle. Anyhow pretty good work, shame sushi didnt show, i know that like ruins the whole vibe of teh battle when you gots no opponent

story is pretty random i agree. but it was sposed to kinda come together on how these two characters meet in sushi\'s pages . . . they just didnt make it on in time. .

Welps, your stories a liiiiittle cliche and weak Foo, but I can\'t argue with the art.  And goodness if Foo isn\'t a hot little tottie, I all but swooned when he scooped Sushi up after being \'yoinked\'.  ....I\'m kinda ashamed of myself for that.  ;p  Great job.

Yea all i can say is that I enjoyed this immensly, and although sushi couldnt get hers in it was good on one side. If it was jus time i guess she could submit her side as a BB. The only crit I have is the rip thing, which you already adressed.

yur right Dingo. . i didnt do all that i had planned for the last page there was sposed to be backgrounds and the Ripping was gonna look a lot better. .. but i wanted to be able to put some grey tones and shades on some of the pages so i kinda slacked on the last page. . .also Sushi\'s fight was supposed to kinda continue a convo from after the fight with foo and stud is over but she didnt submit on time. . sokay tho. . ill throw a beyond battle up at somepoint showing what happens after my last page.

well, foo, your half was awesome. aces on the seel cameo   XD   i dunno it was all rgeat till the last page. i\'m not a big fan of \"to be continued\", but putting that aside the last page just had a lot more empty space than the rest of the fight.
overall it was a really great fight though, really enjoyed it  :3
