Jira: wonderful story and over all concept
Mize: brilliant colors and excellent character designs

awesome as hell... i\'ll start off by sying that jira\'s fight was excellent and well put together. i liked the fight scenes the best, but......

mize\'s was freakin incredible, omg, it looked almost professional. every thing was perfect and the amount of story that was in there was also incredible. the only problem i had was that the grammar was bad. there were three captions that didnt make since because you didnt prof-read. other than that it was freakin awesome.

Jira: \"Don\'t hurt me.\" That\'s what I thought on the last panel of pg 4. Mize looked so helpless like a lost puppy or somethin\'. I felt so sorry for \'em. lol. For your first battle I liked it.You show a grasp and knowledge of anatomy that I hope to get one day.

Mize: Damn...Jira got pwned. And that clearing the room of smoke with one swing of the sword was pretty cool idea. He\'s such a show off though did he really need to toss up his sword like that? But I guess it works if he wanted to show that Ninja is nothing but dirt which gave him the time to do that. God has heard the Angel\'s prayer. I\'m gonna remember that one. Good shit.

Really enjoying the little story arc you got goin on, psyched that Mech is apart of it.  Think I\'ll do a BB after BR regarding alot of this.  Solid work as always man.  That\'s one hot Ayako too.

Black-good first showing, try to clean up that style a bit and you\'ll be set.  Mamoru\'s a tough opponent but I think you held your own.  Keep it up.

Simply amazing, Mize. I was really impressed with your storyline progression! You do rush a bit at the end, but the sheer amount of storyline you\'re working with really makes that up to me, at least. Your coloring and styles also just make me happy to read. Kudos.

Jira, nice job here. I agree with others about the emptiness of the first page. The colors helped a lot but it could be a little more clear. I look forward to your next battles and where you take things.

Black, that first page let you down, but it got imediatly better, the fight sequence worked really well i thought, it probably could have been longer and had some dialoge from you character but it was still a good solid entry

First comment I\'ve made here...not a bad job on both sides.

Black, your colored work isn\'t really that bad.  But that black and white first page I found jarringly empty, and your lines just didn\'t look clean enough to cut it.  Your story writing was a little better.   I tend to prefer in these fights when there\'s a little more concentration on the opponent than just him or her being an \"intruder.\"  Just try writing something a little longer next time.  Decent job; I hope to see cleaner B&W work from you.

Mamoru...I\'ve watched this site for a while now and you\'re always impressive.  I thought your story was a bit cliched, but the string of cameos had their intended effect.  Your art is still awesome, especially with those vibrant colors...where Black needs to work on art, you need to work on story some.  Good job.
