omg the awesomeness. Mikal... nice battle, but i think you need to start throwing in some backgrounds and shading.
Carolyne... dayumn. That\'s hot. so very hot. Especially the colored page at the end. Keep it up.. you\'re on the verge of some professional art there. On the verge.. hell... i\'d buy a comic from you right now.

Good lord, kick ass!!!  Mikal - not bad, though I had no fuckin\' clue what was going on for...most of it, really.  Looked like it was more rushed than your last fights, which is a shame, your character is getting cooler the more I see of him.

Kae - SHIZIT!!!  THat was haaawwt, I had no idea you had that in you!  Awesome backgrounds, great action, and a nice little storyline. A couple of confusing parts in the beginning, I\'ll admit, but I\'m definetly respecting your skills.  Great turn out.

Me Cara did agree though that both fights will be canon with hers happening prior to mine for storyline purposes.

Cara: Damn good fight girl! You danced circles around me here. Mikal\'s dialogue is dead on and my only gripe (thought it\'s nothing major) is Mikal\'s horns shoulda been larger.  That aside aces all the way. Keep it up!

Mikal, you had a solid fight, most of the beef I had with yours got covered by Phil, so would it be okay if I just left it at that? Good stuff, but you can do better.

Kae, astounding first fight. I wish you could have colored everything, because your last page is just beautiful. Incredibly professional inks, props there. Diggin\' the story and the art, hope to see more from you.

Mikal: all I\'m gonna say is that your fight was hard to follow. I know you know you need to work on your art, so I\'m not gonna stress that. I barely knew what was going on here.

Carol: Excellent read, excellent art, this was a fine comic. Perhaps you could be on my upcoming fight list. All depending on who is available. It\'s also good to see that the anthros are getting cautious against the descriminations against them. CULLMINATION!

Regardless, it\'s good to not see defaults here.

GREAT first battle from Carolyne.  The camera angles were well-done, and some rather tricky perspective shots were pulled off convincingly.  I loved the facial expressions and the detailed backgrounds as well.  I don’t think the color really did a lot for that last page though, most of the shading was still done in ink and your lines are spaced out in such a way that everything is crystal-clear without colors.  Oh, the bit with the tuna was hilarious.  

Mikal’s side could’ve used a bit of polishing, I think.  The action scenes in particular could’ve used some refining—the fall in page 1 was done passably well, but after that…

Page two:  Carolyne’s pose in the first panel is really stiff, as opposed to the arc-shaped body in the first page that really shows she’s falling.  Think about what kind of pose would best capture a sense of action, and try to implement those moments into your action scenes.  Her torso scrunches up more than it should on the backflip, as well.

Page three:  Some background on the first panel would really help in at least establishing where the ground is!  Is the beast running, or leaping into the air?  In the last panel, again with the moment of action:  If Carolyne gets taken down by the neck I imagine that her legs would still be up in the air at the moment of impact, since she was taken down from a standing position.

Page four:  Fuzzy-pencil Mikal doesn’t look so good coming out of the solid black wall; the lazyness shows through here.  I’d suggest a thin white outline that doesn’t look so pixelated, or just show the glasses, smoke, and glowing hand.

I thought the character portrayal was a little one-sided as well, but that’s just a personal preference.  Good to see you’re experimenting with the tricky stuff, though.

xD Criminey, the first battle and she\'s NAKED. Mikal, I could hurt you. I love it though. I still think both battles run together nicely, as though my half happened before, and yours after. Doing a Beyond Battle with you will be veeery fun.

I think Mikal did great, her falling from that high and living through it was odd.. but I think I\'ve heard of people plunging off building tops and actually not getting hurt too bad. Luck prevails. The rest is dandy, my only regret is that it isn\'t colored. (But I can\'t talk, xD I didn\'t color mine either.)

I tried not to slack off on mine, there\'s a lot wrong with it, but I think the inks came out alright. (Besides the occasional mess, I didn\'t like the first panel on the first page. I\'ve been ewwing at that one from the start.) Among others, the dialogue was pretty last minute.. but I learned my lesson. Next time I\'ll script before drawing.
