The man inside the suit designed and created a large portion of the it, designed for special-ops soldiers doing reconnaissance and spy missions. Since he created the suit, the military facility that funded it decided that he should be the man to take it out for the test run. If he can survive the Speed Death Tournament then he would surely get a very lucrative contract from the US army for the Cockroachsuit. Not only is he fighting for his life, but for the notoriety and of course, billions of dollars.

The Cockroachsuit significantly enhances his defensive and offensive capabilities. Titanium armor and a kevlar woven body suit makes him significantly invulnerable to bullets or bludgeoning weapons, heat and cold, falls and slams, and electrocution. He\'s resiliant like a cockroach. But with enough punishment his suit would surely fail. He is agile, flexible, and fast...he can scurry very low to the ground and with some effort he can climb walls.

Other features of the suit include a jetpack on the back which enable him to fly. His wings give him more control in the air. His antenna are electrically charged and act like a tazer and if he stores up enough of a static charge he can shoot an electrical blast.

His goggles act like a HUD (Heads Up Display) and are night vision enhancing have a heat seeking feature and also act as a GPS (Global Positioning System).

But probably his favourite part of the suit and the most exploited. He has (in his forearm armguard) canisters of various noxious gasses. 3 to be exact!

1. A gas that has sedating/mind control properties - purple in colour
2. A poisonous toxic gas...very lethal in moderate doses - green in colour
3. A corrosive gas that can melt flesh and and rust/decompose metal - red in colour

The gas shoots out of the top of the armguard. This is why the costume features a gasmask as well and has been desinged to be immune to the corrosive gas.
