Martial Art: Muay Thai
Tian is a very serious individual. He thrives for power and accepts anyone who challenges him in a match against who is the better warrior. He's headstrong and very stubborn, but deep down he has a potential to be a better person, although he rarely ever lets that potential out.
*Background: Tian was once a celebrated 3-time champion fighter and prodigy of Muay Thai, the science of 8 limbs. However, a weaselly small-time street gang kidnapped his lover and held her for ransom. He went on his own to save her but out of fear and excitement, one of the thugs accidentally kills Tian's lover. Enraged, he goes after him but the gang manages to escape.
Over time his grief and vengeance consumes him, where he completely cuts off his former life to train his physical and spiritual prowess. Bitter and alone, his spiritual energy manifests itself into a creature Tian calls a Shadow, naming him Ifrit. He utilizes Ifrit to fight back against enemies and opponents to see who is stronger while
Ifrit is the manifestation of Tian's raw power, whom he calls a Shadow. It is born from Tian's grief and rage but formed itself into what it is now through rigorous training. Tian rarely shows off Ifrit's true form, using only its limbs and flames to help him fight more effectively. On occasion however, Ifrit does show itself, usually when Tian wants to use it for limited range attacks. The Shadow can't go too far from Tian, its maximum distance is only 4 feet.
Being only a physical form of Tian's energy, Ifrit does not have its own conscience and follows/copies everything Tian wills it to do, hence Shadow. It acts as Tian's first form of defense.
Tian uses Ifrit as an offensive attacker. He can take advantage of Ifrit's limbs to deal multiple punches at one time. It also gives Tian the power of heat and flames to power his punches and kicks with high temperature explosions. Tian's defense is slightly poor, focusing more on offense than defense. Despite this, Tian is impervious to heat and flames up to a certain temperature.
Tian's weakness is distance and speed, since his fighting style Muay Thai is close-contact. Tian and Ifrit cannot do and do not know any long-range attacks like fireballs. Tian and Ifrit's speed is mediocre, using bulk to throw fast punches and kicks but can't keep up with long-distance stamina.
To counter this, Tian developed techniques with Ifrit to throw off the predictability and speed of faster fighters.
