Chia-Hui vs. Itami
Bio:
Name: Itami "Nomisuke" Saitoh
Age: 19 (carries a fake ID to get her booze)
Birthplace: Osaka, Japan
Fighting Style: Drunken Fist
Compared to many mighty warriors, Itami is not all the spectacular. At first glance, she's just a barfly who's drunk half the time and not worth taking on. However, when an opponent makes this assumption, he is quickly defeated and humiliated beyond belief.
Itami Nomisuke is more or less a normal young woman, save for her unusually high alcohol tolerance. She comes from a typical family: mother, father, and two older siblings. She never knew much about her brother, but she keeps contact with her older sister. Her ties to her parents are very close, although she admits she doesn't know much about their pasts either.
She was discoraged by both her parents from a job as a martial arts actress because they felt that a girl such as her shouldn't be involved in such roughness and thus never really learned her father's style. However...she once observed her father fighting a drunken master, and was immediately drawn in by such an unorthidox yet effective style. As soon as she could, Itami started training in the Chinese arts and eventually developed her own version of the Drunken Fist. During this time, she expressed great interest in persuing a career as a martial arts actress and has now set off on her own at age 19.
Her travels have placed her in Void City, and the atmosphere full of fighters had drawn her in. What better place to improve her skills and popularity as a martial arts actress then fight and start winning battles? She now resides in Void, making as many connections as possible and working at Mal's diner to pay the bills. And there's still the issue about her brother...
Her personality fits her fighting style very well. She's very playful and cocky, and almost never takes a battle seriously unless she's really pushed. She's known for taunting her opponents, and if she can't defeat an opponent, she'd go for humiliating him/her instead (i.e. pantsing in mid-combat, throw them into a trash can, etc). She does her best to make beating her opponents seem effortless, throwing off mocking poses and dodging in a very humoruous way. And if she's fighting a male opponent, she'd most likely use her sex appeal to her advantage.
Itami has no fear against any dangerous oppenent at all. She tries to make friends of her oppenents whenever she can, but for the truly dangerous ones she merely mocks them whenever possible. She's definately headstrong and would jump at the opportunity to show off her mad drunken skills.
As far as her outfit is concerned, she's usually seen wearing the outfit seen in her reference sheets. She does dress up in different clothing, but she is almost always in a short skirt and high heeled shoes (Not boots mind you. She wants to show off as much leg as possible). Oddly enough, Itami has a horrible habit of filling her wardrobe with the latest fashions, hence she doesn't have any sort of "workout clothing". When working out, she just wears what she always wears, no matter how impractical it looks.
Considering that she also uses drunken fist, she's very flexible and nimble. Most of her attacks consist of kicks, flips, counters, and of course the usual drunken antics of a drunken fighter. The closest thing she has to a super attack would be her "Flaming Lips", but for that she needs hard liquor and an open flame. Other than that, she moves like the martial arts hero of a Hong Kong movie. Think of her as a female homage to all of those old HK movies with tons of martial arts action. It should be noted that she has a particular affinity for movies with either Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, or Jet Li, who all heavily influence her form of kung fu.
