Bio:
River is a native of Void City, born and raised in the West-Side District, most of her childhood is extremely fuzzy and not much is known other than as a child she sought the comfort and enjoyment of music. When she grew older she moved out, and her knowledge and passion of music landed her a job in the Void City Radio Station. She worked her way up the ranks quickly and became the Head Director and Main DJ when the old one was killed by a stray void battle that slammed into the station.
Powers/Abilities:
River's abilities stem directly from listening to music. Her powers correlate directly to the song she's listening to and last only as long as the song is playing, ending immediately when its finished (toggling the "repeat" option on her MP3 player easily solves this). A few examples:
"When You Were Young" by The Killers would give her the ability to turn someone in to a child.
"Spitfire" by Prodigy would allow her to breath fire.
"Brainpower" by Freezepop would gift her with Telekinesis.
"Maxwell's Silverhammer" by The Beatles (a favorite of her's) lets her summon a giant silver hammer.
She doesn't have to listen to music from her MP3 however, music playing in malls, amusement parks, roller rinks, or other public areas can still give her powers, granted though she doesn't have control over what songs they play and what powers she'll get as a result.
Other:
Vivian is a generally petty and slightly snobbish person and she will fight or use her womanly wiles to try and get anything she wants at the drop of at hat. She usually won't volunteer to do things for others unless she's offered compensation or a reward. She has a total of 7 other DJ’s on staff that work under her, one head assistant DJ named Blake, and a robot aid called DJ-Bot (who can double as a karaoke machine). Her favorite food is potato salad and her favorite drink is lemonade. She is allergic to strawberries, and she is bisexual.
Her goal is to bring the entire city of Void under her control to advance her own immature and selfish agenda, using the radio station as a broadcasting and propaganda tool.
TIMELINE:
(VS Jong) - Vivian's bitch factor actually decreased slightly and her relation to Jong and his gang of Bad-Star improved very slightly, yet it it questionable whether it is to the status of allies or not. It is most likely not and two currently stand on what can be only called: "peaceful distrust".
(VS Bat) - Vivian's opinion of those from space has been heavily lowered thanks to Bat's antics and attempts to mooch off her community service court sentence. Also, thanks to Ben's uncanny ability to cause trouble everywhere she goes, Vivian goes out of her way to avoid her now at all costs.
(VS McKenzie) - Vivian single-handedly managed to destroy any small demographic of her's that could have been Christian and pissed all of Void's existing Christian residents in one fell scheme; including Casimir; who foiled her money-making plan and exposed McKenzie to the public once again as a giant drunk.
(VS Penelope) - Vivian successfully broad-casted over her airwaves to anyone who might not have already known, about Penelope's heavy consumption, sale, and trafficking of weed and other drugs. All while delivering scathing marijuana puns during the entire interview.
(VS GVSR) - GVSR's terrible South Carolina martial arts and unexplained homophobia caused him to be dealt a crippling defeat at the hands of Vivian at a late night bar.
